I had a layover in Miami after a really early flight. Stopped by Cafe Versailles and had some pastelitos. Ordered guava and cheese, cheese and beef. They were so delicious we had to buy more. They are so soft and flaky. My husband had a Cuban sandwich he said it was delicious too. Stop by and order from here, you won’t regret it.
First time having Cuban food and it was good. It felt like it was missing something like hot peppers. I'd have them again and experience something new on the menu just to see what else I'm missing out on.
I am surprised about the average ratings because we have a different opinion. We were waiting for our late morning flight at MIA on 03/23/23 to Aruba and were hungry. I was dreading airport food. But then we saw Cafe Versailles, and we became hopeful.
My daughter and I each ordered the Cuban sandwich with Cuban coffee. Perfection! Fresh and delicious. We also got guava pastelitos for the 3 hour flight.
Service was excellent, and performed with a smile. The place is clean and shiny. We felt confident that we were at the right place.
Now we have a favorite restaurant at the Miami Airport!
Stopped by the one by the Gate D5. The ladies at the register were upbeat and very polite. The orders were taken quickly.
For airport standards, the prices were in line with other establishments. The sandwich was huge and tasty. They also have other affordable options such as empanadas and croquettes. People seems to like the Cuba coffee.
Our first time here. Service was slow but it was busy place. The food was excellent. The beef empanadas were fluffy with a good amount of meat. The Cuban sandwich was enough for two. The sandwich was served hot with a good portion of melted cheese. Good place for Cuban food.
Got lunch here twice (para llevar, eaten at the food court, or at the gate) while connecting in MIA on a recent trip to Mérida. Really good cubano sandwich, truly excellent spinach empanadas, and delicious papas rellenas; decent beer selection. Way better than average airport fare and quick, polite bilingual employees and service. The food court cleanliness leaves something to be desired-- that's not specific to this restaurant, though.
Typical Cuban food with some American sandwiches options. The ham croqueta, guava pastry (pastelito de guayaba) and the ham & cheese croissant were great. Add the great service and this is a perfect quick stop before a flight. Coffee was not the best.
Classic Cuban coffee "colada" with enough octane to energize the passenger AND fuel the airplane!
The staff is enamored with every customer, "Hola, mi amor".
They have other things, too.
Best Cuban coffee ☕️ in MIA…airport😉👍🏽
Great value as well. Got two papa rellena and a JUMBO Cuban coffee for $8 (not bad by airport standards).
A very authentic Cuban experience in the midst of terminal D
FAIL - Worst tuna sandwich @ 7am. SOGGY - Wet Bottom? YUCK! However, the servers were bright & attentive. Everything about the experience was really very good (in an airport) 'cept for the sandwich itself. Next time I'll go for the CUBANO! Made fresh b4 ur eyes!
