La comida muy sabrosa y la atención de primera. Lo recommend. El salmón a la naranja, delicioso, Las croquetas ni SE diga.
The Best Cuban Restaurant in all Miami, I have been in this restaurant many years not 2 far from home and the food and service are more than excellent. Riñonada, black beans with maduros is my weakness. Keep up the good work.
Absolutely incredible. What a fantastic meal. The best food I had in Miami. My wife says the rice and beans are better than her family makes back in Brazil, the best she's had in years, so you know that was hard to admit.
I had some roasted pork ribs with marinara sauce (kind of, but sweeter and brighter) served atop some green (onion I think) risotto. The dish was so delicious.
This place was recommended by our airboat driver guide who apparently used to work here. Spot on. The atmosphere is old school cool, with painted murals, jazz music, and white table cloths. A classy joint.
It will be helpful if you have someone in your party who speaks Spanish, because I don't think anyone who works there could (perhaps they just didn't offer). But don't let this scare you off. The menu has English descriptions. You have a smart phone. You'll be fine. Just go.
I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Miami.
Really good food and the best croquetas de jamon! Must try local place!
Wow, what an experience! We got a recommendation from our airboat guide at the Everglades, a true Cuban. We were welcomed and the menu was full of traditional dishes. Be prepared to use all the Spanish you have, our servers did not speak English. I had the beef and potatoes with rice and beans (the most delicious I've tasted in a very long time) with fried plantains. Everything was divine! Don't forget to ask for a Cuban cafecito (very dark sweetened coffee) to end the meal.
Always great food, always great service! Best croquetas in Miami, argue with your Mami about that one. This is my go-to spot for chicken soup and croquetas when I’m feeling sick, the drive-thru ladies make me feel like better, they’re like awesome tias. At the multiple ventanitas you can get the ham croquetas or your cafecito, it’s very convenient. They also have their second restaurant down the street.
When I tell you that I have bought 25 frozen croquetas to fly with to my sister in Washington state, I am not kidding. And I’ve done this multiple times.
If I had to choose a favorite Cuban food (after my moms) this would be it. And if your mom or abuela say otherwise, tell them to prove it to me.
Placed order over the phone for pickup. Grilled Chicken breast and Palomilla steak. Both entrees were good. They have a bar, sit down area, pickup window, order window, and drive thru.
I love this place, I've been dining here since I was a teenager. ( That's a long time ) The food is always delicious, and the service is great. We had the vaca frita and ropa veja.
You have to try the oax tail ONLY SERVED ON SUNDAYS
The food is delicious, and hospitality was very enjoyable. It's my favorite cuban restaurant of Miami, hands down. I went with my girlfriend on Sunday it I had the lamb, and she had the Carne asada 😋 definitely will be going back time and time again! Thank you for great food and great service!
Delic cuban sandwich & desserts! So much food, we had leftovers. It was the first time I ate at a restaurant where no one spoke English & I loved every min of it! The waitress & manager was kind & checked on us often. We had our 2 pups with us & sat on the patio.
The only thing that would make this restaurant perfect is timeliness. I waited 15 min to be seated, and they weren’t really that busy. Our server took forever to take our order & then forever to bring the appetizer. She brought the appetizer & then the entree 5 min later :/ the food is amazing! I’ve never eaten anything here that disappointed me & for that reason I’ll always come back.
Very pleasant experience. The croquettes were the best... the Service from a curled hair blond young lady sealed it, great customer service with a smile!
We ordered on-line which was so smart. This restaurant is incredibly popular and busy. We picked up the food 20 minutes after placing the online order. Palomilla steak was perfectly cooked with ample supply of cooked onions and the Midnight sandwich was delicious. But you must have the “house croquetas” the best in town!
I stopped going years ago because I didn't like the taste of the beans, and the croquetas had changed. One of my granddaughters came to town, and she wanted to go there.
Presently surprised , everything was delicious and the service excellent. Have gone back several times
I have been coming back to this restaurant for the last 20 years every time I come to visit my family in SW Miami, food is not fancy, just good authentic Cuban food. From the best croquetas to awesome potages and many other typical dishes. Prices are very reasonable also.
Cuban breakfast fare at its best...and service to match. It's been awhile since I sit down and have a traditional Cuban breakfast, and I was not disappointed. Actually looking forward to doing it again soon.
