A hole in the wall! Small little place , it’s actually a food truck stationed with lot of comfy seating. The food was so good! Ordered yuca chips, mahi mahi tacos and shrimp tacos were to the point! Also had a spanish flan for dessert. It was pretty good. Recommend this place if you are exploring Wynwood.
Eat here. Some of the tastiest food in Miami. They started from a food truck and are now expanding. The staff are friendly and the place moves from relaxed during the day to lively at night.
If you think the prices are a little higher than the average taco place, then consider that you’re getting twice as much food. It’s actually good value.
My only suggestion, they could do with a better selection of beer. Plenty of local craft brewers to choose from.
Why don't I live as close as possible to this place? I would literally eat here every day of my life if it was possible. Hands down THE BEST TACOS i've ever had and this location is so cool to hang out in. Don't skip this and try something new!
Holy cow! We stumbled on this gem while making our way to the nearby Midtown Garden Center and it was totally a treat! Homemade empanadas and a nice, diverse menu of big, fresh tacos (I highly recommend the Tuna Poke taco!). They have fun fizzy non-alcoholic beverages and lovely seating areas for parties of various sizes. They also have a small, off-street parking area. On the fringes of Wynwood, it’s a nice and tasty oasis!
Very flavorful and authentic tacos! Also, super cute and cozy at night. Very intimate. The steak and shrimp tacos are bomb. If you're super hungry get 2, but 1 will suffice! Also, this place is a taco truck not a restaurant. Look for pink sign!
This food smacked, it was so good (only thing, they didn’t have gator available) but it was still incredible. They were pretty quick with service and the ladies working there were cute so win-win. Tuna Poke and Mahi Mahi were delicious!
4.5 stars. A colleague and I visited Caja Caliente for lunch on a weekday. It's essentially a Cuban-inspired taco food truck with infrastructure built around it, creating a large covered outdoor dining area with plenty of seating and areas to relax. The vibe is a mix of Cuban, Caribbean, and hippy, and it blends well. I started with the blue crab croquettes, which were nostalgic for me as I grew up eating them. They were not the best I've ever had but were very good and enjoyable with a squirt of lime, hot sauce, and dipped in their cilantro-garlic sauce. I had the taco special which were two tacos for $6 with your choice of Cuban style pork or chicken. I went with the pork and they came fully loaded with the usual toppings. The tacos were tasty and the pork flavorful. Service was attentive and friendly. Overall, a great value for a no frills lunch for two at $20. I will definitely return and recommend to others.
These tacos were so delicious and full of flavor! The wait wasn’t too long and the area has outdoor seating that is shaded. Right in the design district.

This place is a small little hidden gem. One of my friends brought me here and we ordered some tacos. The food was amazing, from taste to presentation. They also have other items besides tacos there.
Taco taco taco mania! Tuna Poke Taco, what a great idea. Taste so good and fresh! Pulpo, grill octopus was pretty good too. Ah... why can't I just live here instead of NY! (FYI,Mahi mahi empanada was ok only)
Amazing!! Everything we tried was phenomenal. All the protein was seasoned so well and everything came out super fast. Loved everything!
Great food. Definitely enjoyed the tacos! Nice atmosphere too. It's a good place to get a quick affordable bite while sitting on the couch and hanging out. Good location too since it's within walking distance of other places in Wynwood. Will be back!

LISTEN, whoever can relate tacos to only Mexican food has NOT tried this place and honestly they're MISSING OUT! Yes I'm screaming because this place is amazinggggg! Funny thing is was hubby and I stumbled across this place by accident due to their beautifully colored decor! (If you read some of my reviews, you know my love for art & color!) and let me tell you, it's beyond amazing! They're Cuban tacos & they have so muchhhh flavor it'll leave your tastebuds speechless! And where else can you get croquetas, empanadas & tacos?! Don't worry, I'll wait!
We opted to try all kinds of things and I'm honestly surprised I didn't order 1 of everything on the menu, but don't fret, I will be back to finish off my tastings soon! lol We had the lechon taco, chicken taco, vacations frita taco, shrimp empanada & crab croqueta. EVERYTHING was phenomenal. Every+Single+Thing. The shrimp empanada tasted like shrimp enchilado in an empanada and I was ALL for it! The tacos were scrumptious with their sauces! The croqueta oh my god, I'm not even a crab fan UNTIL NOW! lol Great Great Great and I cannot describe how great it is! (Yes I will repeat the word great until you get it! lol) Had of course the Cuban classic sodas like Ironbeer cuz why not?! and everything was just amazing! Think of it like Mexican food made with Cuban parts!
The ambiance is amazing, it's a food truck with beautiful outdoor seating and decor! Everything is so colorful and mismatched yet coordinated all at the same time! The staff is AMAZING and so helpful, you'll feel like family! I enjoyed every bit of my experience here! Yes it is outdoors but there are fans and I didn't feel extra hot or anything. Although with the amazing food, I doubt you'll even notice.

For $6 you can get two chicken or lechon tacos. The outdoor patio-esque atmosphere is great for meet ups and friends. Tacos were on the small side but delicious. Relatively affordable for Wynwood area
Been eyeing this place since Texas...vacationed in South beach and crosed the bridge to try this place. Ok, we have had lots of great food here and in key west, with that said.....Stop try the octopus tacos, the poke bowl, and the tamal. So unique in flavor and will keep you smiling for your entire visit. Will stop by again today for seconds!!! Poke tuna bowl is crazyyy good and so filling. Tacos de Lechon, tasty, tangy, and delicious...
