Outstanding Service, great food, and definitely a bargain. The woman "Mabel" that runs this restaurant certainly impressed me this weekend when I stayed at the hotel where this restaurant is located. The food is well cooked and to order. I don't know of any restaurant where you can get a perfectly done 14oz sirloin steak, salad and baked potato for 14.99, but I'm glad I found it.
I had a great omelette for breakfast, also well cooked, fast and at a great price. More importantly, is the attitude of Mabel, and the interest she takes in each of her customers.
There is also a bar that she is upgrading to better meet the tastes of many travellers. One way she does this is in talking to the customers who come in for a drink, to see not only what their tastes are, but why.
I could name a whole lot of well known places, with high dollar average results that I have tucked in for snacks, a meal and or drinks and they could take some lessons from Ms. Mabel.
The food and the prices were really good and resonable. While Mabel was multitasking, She was the waitresses, cook, and casheir; the service did not lack. She handled the cafe like a professional. The cafe has great atmosphere and very family friendly. I'll most definitely come back here next time I'm in Miami!!!
Very cozy and nice atmosphere. The owner is very caring and has attention for details. Be patient, as good things come to those who wait. Breakfast was a great deal and everything was fresh and delicious. Thank you!
The owner is the sweetest lady I've ever met makes some really great food and pays attention to detail. Its definitely a must try place to eat.
