I recently dined at Caña, a hidden gem tucked away on the 2nd floor of the Hyatt, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of amazing. The food at this Cuban restaurant exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home.
The menu at Caña offers a delightful array of Cuban dishes that are bursting with flavor. I couldn't resist trying their traditional Cuban sandwich, which was a perfect blend of tender roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard on crisp Cuban bread. Each bite was a taste of heaven.
Found this restaurant on a whim while away for a wedding anniversary/babymoon trip with my husband. We went on a Sunday night and it was farely empty which worried me at first but they did not disappoint! From the service to the food quality/flavor, I was impressed. According to my husband it was the best meal he had all trip. I don't know if I would say all that but it was very delicious. I had the garlic shrimp appetizer as a meal with maduros and he had the Vaca frita (came with rice and beans) and we split the truffle fries. Even our drinks were outstanding! His a rum punch and mine a guava mule* (I'm pregnant so I asked for the drink with no alcohol and was told they carried Ritual Zero Proof Tequila! It was an amazing mocktail!) We were too full for dessert but ended our night with a glass of bubbly to celebrate (I had sparkling cider). When ever we return to Miami, this will definitely be a stop.. maybe for brunch next time.
This place is so unreal and satisfying! Love every appetizer served; pork belly bun is wildly distinctive! Shrimps on toast so yummy, and the drinks hit right! Just saying 😌 🤷 😏 😉 🙂
A bit hidden (on the 2nd floor of the Hyatt) and not very crowded (which is a Plus). Stylish Interior. The service is fast and very friendly. Cheese Balls are amazing. Tomato with Cheese (somehow related to the Italian Caprese) was very delicious too. "Unfortunately" there were too many options i could not try but its definitely worth another visit.
Quaint, chill, cafe with delicious breakfast Cuban cuisine & very kind staff. I had the Cuban Benedict thanks to the recommendation of Philipe my waiter, a Cuban Coffee, and a cappuccino with cinnamon to go. Off Brickel Avenue in Miami and they had several options for a yummy breakfast.
I really enjoyed egg Benedict! I loved it and night view at this restaurant is decent. I wish they have a better quality of coffee beans…
I was staying at the Hyatt Centric on Brickell Bay Road and decided to try their Cuban restaurant Cana. All i can say is WOW! Upon exiting the elevators, you enter a very chic establishment. They have indoor or outdoor seating which is nice. The bar is in the center. It the perfect size. They have big windows and a selection of booth and tables. I actually dined there twice. Once for lunch where i had the power lunch for $12. I got the fish, beans and rice with a soft drink for $12. That was an insanely low price for this lunch. The fish was grouper and it was cooked to perfection with a lemon butter and caper sauce. My mouth was singing! The service was good. Each server is really busy but you should expect that and appreciate them just being there. I went a second time for dinner and ordered the dinner portion $32. I ate every bite! They can cook fish so well and this time i tried the flan dessert. It was mouth watering and very authentic. I plan on visiting Miami often and will return whether i stay at The Hyatt Centric or not. Thumbs up for delicious food and great service.
Food: The clam dish is highly exceeded my expectation.
We tried one appetizer and two main dishes. We are seafood lovers and definitely love these dishes. We really love the clam dish it taste so fresh and a little bit sour.
Indoor/Outdoor: They have outdoor seats but because it is very close to street and a bit noisy, so we chose to seat indoor. It was not crowded during noon time.
The ambiance and decors inside this restaurant are both good!
Location: it is inside Hyatt hotel at the second floor, easy to access.
Price: feel like a bit overpriced. But is is in Miami financial district so maybe it is the normal price here?
This is an excellent choice for dinner and should be more popular. The fact that it is in Hotel should not dissuade you from going. It's quite good. Food is above par. Service is excellent. Not too crowded. And best of all for me - it's not noisy !
Wow wow wow. This restaurant is one of those rare hidden gems. The food is without a doubt, some of the tastiest I’ve ever tried. I highly recommend the shrimp garlic dish as a starter. It’s heavenly good. Their cubanero sandwich is a popular one and I can confirm that it’s great. The service was magnificent too. From the hostess to our server. Good dish recommendations, happy to change something on my dish after it was served to us (french fries to salad) and pointed out several sightseeing in the area. Top experience!
