Went in there as they open up on Sunday at 1030am. I Was nicely greeted and sat down. The place looks very clean and well maintained. Lots of family style tables with a carousel in the middle, perfect for sharing dishes. Service was good , drinks were given right away and the dim sum cart was ready to go. Though all the servers were Asia (good sign)Everyone spoke English no issues. The standard expected dim sum were good and well made. I picked 8 plates and a hot tea that came out to about $35.00 USD. Not bad for Miami in 2023. Overall and nice casual dining experience. I will definitely go by there again but this time with a friend as the food was way too much for one person.

I usually order take out but decided to dine in for dim sum. The food was delicious and service the service was pretty good too! Unsure when the space was updated but the decor is pleasant and the single restroom is spacious and clean. The only thing I wouldn't order again were the bbq ribs (they were out of char siu pork). They had great flavor but the meat was a bit hard. Everything was freshly made - including an off menu request and the entree portions were huge!

The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Most of us had dim sum, but a friend had a steak that was plated into a sizzling skillet tableside, which looked amazing. I wish I didn't live so far, otherwise I'd be here all the time.

Sweet & sour chicken was good and a huge portion. The veggie spring rolls weren't as Crunchy as I'd like, but they were twice the size of normal, so I'll let it slide. However, the crab Rangoons were disgusting. Cold. Chewy. Brarely any crab. Total waste of money. They are redeemed back to 4 stars because they gave free crunchy noodles with the order. Will def try other meals.

This is one of the top 2 Chinese restaurants that we eat from. If our family is willing to make the drive (about 45 minutes), it's worth the drive. If we want something closer, then we have another go-to place. There food is very good because they are very generous with the ingredients that they use. They don't use tiny pieces of vegetables, but instead use full size pieces of all the variety vegetables in their rice and lo mein. Their vegetable spring rolls are excellent as well. I highly recommend them!

We had a really big order for 60 people and were highly recommended. The service and staff were very helpful and tentative. Everyone raved about the food and how good it was. We even ordered a veggie Lo Mien platter which everyone loved. Will order again!

There are two Manus, one for traditional Chinese food and the other for Americanized Chinese food. All kinds of ☕🍵 are free if you dine in there

Back to the restaurant today, Dimsum is still tasty and reasonable price. The waitress recognized us, shes so friendly. I will take my mother to celebrate her birthday next to weeks. One of my favorite restaurant for dim sum. Reasonable price and good service.Weekend is better since they will roll the carts full of dumplings for customer to select.

Love this restaurant whenever I get my itch for some good Chinese Food. I’m a pretty plain type of guy when it comes to Chinese food but this place has never disappointed because it also caters to picky eaters like myself. Wether it’s the spring rolls, peppered steak, honey chicken or another dish the food quality is always fresh, delicious and plentiful. Today it was a delivery day but the quality didn’t disappoint. Best part is they have delivery and I don’t think it took longer than 15 minutes before my food arrived. It’s a small restaurant and perhaps not well known restaurant but compared to other larger chain places I’d pick this spot anytime. Trust me if you’re close by and want some good Chinese food give it a try. You won’t regret it. Happy to be a longtime customer and to support our local small business. Keep up the awesome work South Garden.

This place is so comforting and my go to spot for traditional Chinese food. I’m a fan of dim sum and this place delivers. The portions are big, they menu has a lot of options and the flavor is there. I didn’t try any seafood, but the chicken and pork options were yummy.

*Update* I'm chalking up the experience in my original review as just a fluke. Since then, their food has been back on point. They are, beyond a doubt some of the best Chinese food you can get in Miami. *Original* Food tastes good for the most part when you get what you want. But we just ordered from there and the lunch special is SUPPOSED to come with pork friend rice. Instead, I have a huge helping of rice. Another coworker ordered a chicken dish, got beef instead. Not to mention the delivery itself took FOREVER (Hyperbole but... took about 1.5 hours, though we're down the street) Seriously? When they're good, they are GOOD (was ordering almost every other week for a bit)! But this was just disappointing and has me wondering if I should order from them again if I risk this level of poor quality and confusion. At least, I won't be ordering again in the near future.

We LOVE going to this place for a special celebration! The food is authentic ( we're from Asia!), and the service is world-class and friendly. We train guide dogs for the blind / veterans with disabilities ( South Eastern Guide Dogs), great experience for training, and the owners are very welcome 🙏

My family has been going to this restaurant for over 30 years. We’ve had the best possible experience, customer service is wonderful, and the food quality is beyond amazing. I’ve introduced this restaurant to my family and friends and they all agree that this is the best Chinese restaurant that they’ve ever tried in Miami and compared to other cities and countries around the world. No other restaurant can compare to South Garden’s quality! I highly recommend the soy sauce pan fried noodle and wonton noodle soup!
