Hard to find but excellent steaks, really good - not expensive wine- and a good dessert ( don't remember the name but ordered two, authentic Uruguayan dessert) I then had to go look up Uruguay on the map. Bill was not too steep either.

A business lunch per excellence spot in the area, Don Davis with its happy waitress dressed in black will offer you all the drinks that your difficult to please date or business partner will demand. The Food: If you like the best, and great flavors of grilled meats, you can be wrong. And the price is just below the rest in Miami. try the deserts or even a good wine. (Yes: Is OK to drink wine in an Uruguayan restaurant!). And finish with a nice Cortadito. Best hidden Steakhouse in Miami. Best prices too!
Steakhouse at great prices in Doral. Ever lunch in Don Davis? It has a tradition that came from its former successor in that little corner of Doral. The executive lunch menu is superb! From the Parrillada to the Milanesa, to the Bife de Chorizo, including the parrillada Sausage on the grill or the world famous Uruguayan blood sausages.
I tried the salads with the meat, but I usually eat a great vegetable soup or a chicken soup made fresh everyday. (Very different from a cuban chicken soup. delicious.) with a great 'Bife de Chorizo'! Espresso coffe and service is great. Nice to discuss your business in a friendly and easy place with ample tables for your iPad...
Visited on a Thursday evening as party of six. Plenty to chose from on the menu. Although Meats is their specialty 2 in my party ordered Pasta. Both said their dish was sensational. The rest of us ordered different cuts of beef. Again cooked to perfection and delicious. Side are plenty and all tasted great. Prices are moderate and more than fair due to the quality of the food and portions. The food is cooked to order so it is not a fast experience and it shoud not be when you are presented with such awesome cooking. We all agreed that a return soon is in order. CAN'T wait to try out other menu items. KUDOS to the Chef and staff.
I went there with my lady for Valentine's day figuring it wouldn't be too full since I thought not many people knew the place and I was pleasantly surprised with the food, service and ambiance. It's great, lots of fun and I will certainly recommended to anyone. I've already told some family members and friends and do plan to come back real soon. Great place.

My husband and I are frequent diners at this restaurant, we know the owners, who by the way are very personal and pleasant and make you feel right at home. The food is excellent and the portions are huge. My only complaint is that we spent Dec 31, there and there for entertainment they had a female singer who was not very warm to the Cuban people in the restaurant, she went around asking what country were the people from to sing a song of that country, and when some families said they were from Cuba, she was very abrupt and said, "sorry I don't know any songs from Cuba". I felt offended, 90% of the customers that visit Don Davis and Dona Paulina are Cuban, while I don;t hold this against the restaurant itself, I think they need to be very careful who they contract to entertain their customers. That ruined my night, I wanted to leave and no longer found the ambiance enjoyable. There are many people in Miami from different places and we all need to respect each other to say the least, I hope I never see this lady again when I go back. Thank you.
Great food but slow service. Don't eat here if you're in a hurry. They have a buffet but I've never bothered trying it.
Good service, good food for the price. We tried the buffet and it did not disappoint at all!! Very good variety of dishes. They even had peruvian ceviche as part of the buffet.
I would like to say that this restaurant has good food The Price is Right at the middle not too expensive not too cheap however I did not give a 5-star because they need more selection of food at their buffet ,maybe even include a dessert.
They have a steak called Tomahawk that is better to take it home and keep it there forever.... Beautiful, but if you taste it, there will be nothing to go home. Delicious......
Good service, buffet is ok for lunch, very quick, otherwise the menu is an option. Never crowded, no waiting.
I usually go there on Saturday nights. Good food and also music. Family friendly atmosphere.
