My first Cuban sandwich and I‘m sold. So delicious and huge portions for a fair price. Even though I don’t speak any Spanish, the waitress was super friendly and did her best to make sure that I’m having a good time.
The typical ambiance of any local small restaurant in Miami. What we ordered was good.
It has joined the group of restaurants that will charge for the service while staring over your shoulder to see what tip you are giving. That's what spoils everything good they might have done.
In my opinion, one of two traditional Cuban Latin American restaurants left that still gives you not only quality food but also the perfect quantity.

Came down from NYC for vacation and knew I was coming here. I saw “Street Foods” on Netflix and was sold. Couldn’t wait to come here. They did not disappoint. I ordered outside, and the ladies there were super nice. They have executive specials (menu for workers who are around the area) for $7.99. not bad huh? With soda, it was $10.50. I ordered masitas de pollo, delicioussssssss!!! The Moro was delicioussssss!!! Yuca hervida yum yum!
Just like I remember back in the day when I would go to the Latin American Cafeteria on 29th Avenue and Coral Way. I would always pick up un Cubano Especial with un batido de Mamey and I was in heaven.
Latin American Restaurant Cafeteria offers a wide range of Cuban dishes, including a few takes on the classic Cubano sandwich. The terrace bar and inside dining offer plenty of options for seating. Classic place for decent dishes served up around the clock.
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Was was good, and the wait time was short.
Great place to share a meal with friends.
