Looked up places to eat and saw this place it was crazy packed which led me to believe we found the right spot!!!! The food was great and the staff was friendly will visit this spot every time I visit Miami now 🤗🤗

Best Food in Miami. This restaurant is off-the-hook when in comes to food, especially preparing breakfast. This is serious home cooking. You can order your traditional breakfast; bacon, eggs, pancakes, grits, ham, etc. Or you can order salmon cakes with eggs, fried fish with eggs, even conch soup for breakfast. You can order just about anything from the menu that's provided to you. So wherever you're from in the U.S., they have a breakfast combination that can more than satisfy your appetitie. Whether it's steak and eggs, pork chops and eggs, smoked sausage and eggs, or bacon and eggs, they have something that will remind you of your mama's cooking or grandma's cooking. I loved the salmon cakes and eggs. The salmon cake was perfect, wasn't garlicky like some I've had before at other breakfast establishments. So far, Arline & Schoolie's and Ben's Chili Bowl out of Washington, D.C. have the best salmon cakes for breakfast I've ever eaten. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. The owners were very accomodating to their patrons, especially if you're an out-of-towner. I've eaten at some of the best places in Miami, but when I long for home cooking, it's Arline & Shoolies's for me. If you're EVER in the Miami area, give Arline & Schoolie's at try, you won't regret it. Plus, you'll make friends for life when you meet those wonderful people that work there.
Stopped here while waiting for an expedited passport from the Passport Agency in Miami and the food was excellent. My wife and I love finding hidden gems that are local and even minority owned. I had shrimp and grits and my wife had some waffles. We truly enjoyed our food and definitely will stop by again if we are in the area.
Perfectly done and the wait isn't too long considering the business they receive. The waffle is soft and spongy. The wings are perfectly done. Eggs scrambled soft. Takeout and go..
This place has the best breakfast in Miami. If your in the mood for a southern home cooked hot meal this is the place to go. I especially love their fried snapper grits and eggs with onions and peppers. Can't forget the sweat tea and lemonade "flop" drink. Amazing.
Just plain Ole down home comfort ;

The food is great. Food is cook to order. The waitresses are friendly, quick, efficient with order taking and most importantly respectful. Whenever I want some soul breakfast and don't feel like cooking MLK is where I go.
Literally we were on the way to another restaurant and saw this place. Decided to google it and the reviews confirmed it was a good choice. So we switched routes and stopped in. The menu has a good variety and there is something for everybody. We ordered the ‘Salmon Croquettes’ and the ‘Steamed Snapper’ both with eggs, grits & biscuits. The food was phenomenal, the reviews didn’t lie, and we will definitely be visiting again!

I miss this place! Always friendly service! I enjoyed the food everytime and the atmosphere the music ughh I have to get to Miami!
The best value for breakfast in Miami. The catfish and eggs were very good, abundant and served love and a little Miami attitude which I enjoyed. Very friendly and relaxed place. This place stays busy, which shows how much the community enjoys and values what they offer. There isn't alotta seating but it core clientele carries out from what I saw. My wife and I were on vacation and wanted to try neighbor places and weren't disappointed. We spent 3x as much in South Beach for breakfast and were underwhelmed. This may not be for everyone's comfort level but we felt welcomed and satisfied with our meal. The value alone can't be beat.
The best smothered pork chops your money can buy are found right here at this homestyle soul food spot. The staff is fast and courteous & the atmosphere was inviting!
Ordered on Postmates and the food was amazing! Cant wait till Covid is gone so I can enjoy the food at the restaurant! Would definitely recommend!
