Great Mexican Food @ La Placita Taco Grill. Fantastic Service and Big Portions! I strongly recommend their new Ribeye Costra Tacos, they were so good I asked for seconds
this was my first time trying this taco joint.
i ordered 3 tacos to go around 3 pm on a Wednesday.
it was a swift order/wait
the sweet young lady who helped, answered my questions with no hesitation and had a kind demeanor throughout the entire interaction.
i smiled once i opened my bag at home because:
1. the box wasn’t made of styrofoam!!!
&
2. the food looked amazing.
thankfully it also tasted amazing!
to my surprise it came with a cute side of rice which was nice to have with the left over protein that poured out my tacos since they were nicely stuffed.
i had
-barbacoa: twas flavorful
-chicken: a staple with a twist for color and flavor
and lastly
-al pastor: which had the exact flavor i was looking for. it had a bit of a thicker bite to it than others i’ve tried but i’m not complaining.
overall great first experience and i will surely be coming back again!

Really good tacos, good variety, the baja tacos are the best!! The service was really good and the prices are nice. They have different types of beer!! Back again with no doubt
10/10!! We brought three picky teens who all raved about their burritos. I highly recommend the Baja Fish Taco. Worth the trip from Virginia!! Staff is attentive and friendly and atmosphere was fun.

One of the most consistent restaurants in Miami. Love the quesadillas, burritos, and tacos, obviously! The chicken and chorizo are the highlights for me, but they also had a slow-roasted pork option that was very tasty! The cabbage is my favorite veggie that they use, they just make it super well!
Every order comes with an assortment of cilantro-salsa verde and a smoky chipotle salsa, as well as sour cream.
Their guacamole has very well-balanced flavor and is freshly made every day, along with very servicable and nice fried corn chips.
Furthermore, the customer service is top notch, and theyve gone above and beyond for me in the past.
Overall, perfect place. Haven't had a single bad time here, and I've ordered a dozen or so times. I'm excited to continue supporting this fantastic local business.
Possibly the best tacos I've had in Miami. Up until now the best I had were from a taco truck down in Homestead and I've been craving good tacos closer to home ever since. I've driven by this establishment several times and after trying it today I'm mad at myself for not trying it sooner! Mela at the front was just so sweet and helpful. At her suggestion I tried the trio of cochinita pibil, barbacoa, and carnitas tacos. This and a Coke came up to about 12 dollars. They were soooo good!! The carnitas were perhaps a little on the salty side but it was easy to overlook given everything else was so delicious. Pictured here is also this smokey, chile salsa they served alongside the tacos...it was divine! If you love tacos come check this place out.
Friendly service and delicious food! We had birria tacos, La gringa quesadilla & margarita & loved everything. We plan to go back soon to try more of their food. Awesome casual spot with fun laid back atmosphere
Daniel, Jinet y Amanda…they are all 3 wonderful just like their food. Not only authentic but also creative, well garnished and complimented with so many extras….pricing also decent :). We have dined here 2 times back2back and come from Miami Beach for this food. Try Birria, Crispy Chicken, Chorrizo and then everything else 😅 😋
Great customer service. The food came out super fast and fresh. I had the Arrechera tacos. Don’t leave without trying the chocolate cortadito.

This is a good option for fast casual Mexican cuisine with friendly service and fresh tasty food. The menu offers your typical dishes: many varieties of tacos (Al pastor, barbacoa, carnitas, fish, shrimp, veggie options, etc) as well as quesadillas, burritos, bowls, and other options. The "loaded" Al pastor burrito had a fantastic balance of flavors. The meat was well spiced in the classic Al pastor style and the pineapple added a nice sweet acidity to complement the rice, beans, cabbage, and pico. Although the burrito had an excellent taste, I have 2 complaints. First, the burrito was small for usual standards and at $11, should have been a bit bigger. Secondly, the burrito was supposed to have avocado salsa, which I couldn't identify within the burrito. I've also had the campechano tacos, which are tasty and topped with chicharon. The tacos have great flavor, but are quite overpriced at $12 for 3. $4 per taco is a bit steep in my opinion. The tortilla chips that came with the burrito are authentic and the salsa verde and salsa roja were fresh and delicious. Service was very friendly. The restaurant was clean. Seating is all outdoors and covered. There are fans and there was a nice breeze when I visited. All employees were wearing face masks properly (February 2021). Hand sanitizer was provided. Overall, this is a good option for fresh and delicious Mexican cuisine although the burrito a bit small for the price and tacos are a overpriced in my opinion. I probably wouldn't order the burrito again but I would still return for tacos, even if they are a little overpriced because they were delicious.
Excellent place!! Was driving by Bird Rd. and saw this place. Food was delicious, sorry no pics. But I had the Carnitas (Pork) and my husband had the Arrachera (steak soft tacos). It is a small place but the food is AMAZING. They also have a food truck! Let's support our local business. I truly RECOMMEND.... Enjoy!
The tacos here are excellent and the portions are generous. I especially like the Rib Eye Taco. Very tasty and well prepared with fresh guac and salad. The fish taco is also very good. They close Mondays.
Such a great taco stand. Service was awesome and I got the carnitas tacos. They were so juicy and both red and green salsas were delicious.
