Fireman Derek's Bake Shop - Miami - Photo album

Fireman Derek's is a must-visit bake shop! Their signature dessert, the crack pie, is a caramel lover's dream. The cheesecakes are incredibly delicious too. Yes, it's a bit pricey per slice, but trust me, every bite is worth it. The flavors are rich, and the quality of the ingredients shines through
Loved the location, such a great spot for sweets! They have a great selection of pies Kara and Monty took the time to answer all of my questions and suggested I get the cookie monster pie! Which was AMAZING! highly recommend.
This is a little hole in the wall bakery. Their guava cookie is so good. We got one that was right out of the oven and it was so good that I ordered another one! The key lime pie is the best I had! And I love their empanadas! The cafe con leche is excellent here!
Pies were delicious! Loved the texture of the crust, which is always my favorite part of a pie. Would recommend showing up before the evening or ordering pickup, since pie options run low and you can only choose from what is left in the showcasing. Will definitely be back to try the one's I didn't g
Fireman’s Derek Bake Shop is the place to go if you have a sweet tooth! They have a wide variety of cakes like Nutella red velvet and chocolate buttercream and an even greater array of pie flavors! Their carrot cake is to die for and good luck trying to leave without trying the S’mores brownie!!
Oh boy. This place is a gem. The assortment of cakes, pies, and cookies is fantastic. We ordered a slice of the monster pie, tres leches, and carrot cake. Wow, that may have been the best carrot cake I’ve ever had. The tres leches was great, the bites with cinnamon really hit the spot. The monster p
Amazing selection of cakes and pies, cookies and other delicious snacks. Check the board by the door for all of the options and any special offers (certain cakes were 50% off when I visited) All of the cakes are displayed in the cabinet as pictured so you can pick exactly what you want, this was g
The pies and cakes are all great! We tried the monthly special (cafecito pie) and the guava/coconut cake. The Nutella pie/cookie is also worth trying, as well as the key lime and the other pies.
I've heard about this place for a while and I just had to stop by and try some chocolate cake. I wasn't disappointed! My friend had the chocolate pecan pie and she absolutely raved about it. If ever in coconut grove, stop in, you'll be happy you did!
Love this bakery, have tried most of their flavors throughout the years, they are delicious and consistent. Highly recommended. Four stars because I find them overpriced, $12 for a small slice of cake is a little overboard.
