Excellent Sushi restaurant. Fresh, good taste and amazing flavour. The crew was really nice. Good prices.
Sushi is delicious, very fresh. BUT definitely overpriced. Only six pieces in a basic roll that costs about $14. And I mean basic. $24 for two rolls one a plain shrimp tempura and the other a plain tuna and cucumber. Ridiculous prices. But, delicious if you’re in the mood to splurge.
AMAZING SUSHI RESTAURANT! Great Service & Great Prices! My wife and I have lived in Asia the past few years and we are picky about sushi. This place is awesome. Not only is it good sushi but it is ran by very kind and nice people. The sushi chef is great and really appreciates his customers. The waitress/hostess is amazing as well and is always so kind and nice to us. We go every SINGLE Friday for a weekly sushi date and they always give us the same table! They are great, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! (better than all the over-priced sushi places in Miami)

This is my husband and I's Go-To Sushi spot in downtown Miami. It's affordable, the service is friendly and the sushi is great! We've gone every week since we moved to Miami 3 months ago and we'll be lifelong customers, for sure!
UPDATE: this restaurant has new ownership and I have to say that things have changed a LOT, for the worse....We used to love the personal feel of Mr. Lee and Katherine knowing us and our regular order. Now we get a different person every time on the phone and our order is constantly wrong, not to mention the person on the phone each time is rude and unaccommodating. I used to recommend Okinawa to everyone we knew, now we've gone elsewhere and recommend others...so sad to see such a great local spot go down the drain :(
SECOND UPDATE: we truly appreciate the new owner going out of their way to make things right after multiple poor experiences since they took ownership. I still think the restaurant is drastically understaffed and overridden with orders from multiple meal ordering companies. I honestly felt bad for the chef and nice gentleman at the front on our last pickup order (which took over an hour), because they were drowning in orders with only 2 people to help. Okinawa would get my 5 stars if they took better care of their employees and hired more help.
I order from here yesterday searching for a sushi restaurant close by that delivered. Decided to pick it up instead. The place looks great, very clean and modern. Talked to some of the employees, they even joked around with me about how cheap the process were. My dad decided to order for himself and my mother, came out cheaper than mine. I had basically order for 2 people with $10 worth of sushi (21 pieces) "three amigos", included. Mine Came out to exactly $20 with 15% tip included.
The food was delicious and they took every precaution to social distance. There's only 3 tables so you'll have to wait if you want to dine-in. They also have take-out and are quick with getting orders. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely be coming back.
Fresh fish, perfect combination and timely delivery. Local restaurant and in my opinion the best in downtown Miami. I ordered a set of sushis and nigiris and me and my guest couldn’t be more satisfied! Great job team Okinanawa s🍣 Peace Love & Sushi!

I love the sushi here! I ordered a delivery and it comes in a pretty decent amount of time, my first time eating here i will repeat and and the guy at the phone was very helpful will ordered again soon!
