Great experience at this location. Great food. Fresh and fast service. Jorge our server was great. Very professional, courteous and informative. Location was very clean and tidy . Greeter at the door was very polite and quick to sit us at a great table. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Dragon Roll was delicious. Tempura was crunchy, avocado creamy, and the spicy mayo and eel sauce gave it a strong finish.
Miso soup was standard. If you want miso soup with Tofu I would order extra tofu.
The service was friendly, and the food was great, especially for a lunch special. The Bento plates are fabulous and filling. They come with a side, soup/salad. The quality of the sashimi, excelente. The teriyaki salmon/chicken is also great taste.
During my experience at Sushi Maki, it felt as if I was in a fine dining establishment because of the outstanding costumer service provided by Alfonso Castaño, with the support of his manager, Thomas Falcon, and the food was savory and made my mouth water from just looking at it. I would 100% come back and recommend this place to any and all of my friends who wish to eat and be treated like a king/queen.
The manager Thomas is amazing!! So so friendly and really creates a super welcoming and amazing atmosphere at this location! He’s amazing. Our server Marianna was also incredible! Super friendly and was very helpful and patient with everything. Love the food and workers at this place so much! It’s been my favorite restaurant for years!
I’ve been coming here for ever and never had a bad experience. Every time it was something it was from the kitchen and ALWAYS the manager corrected it immediately. The customer service is always on point… for that I want to say thank you to Claudia from the Palmetto Bay location. She’s the bomb!
As far as the food, the sushi is great. Nothing too crazy or fancy like some other places but there’s a consistency here that keeps me coming back. Tuna tataki is a go to of mines, and so is the Coral Reef roll. Overall solid flavors and always fresh to me. Although I had an issue tonight with my noodles, again customer service saved the day and my review. There’s a reason they’ve been in business this long. Great food and amazing people. I’m a keep coming back!!
The service here is so amazing. The staff is so friendly and will make you feel right at home. Mari was our waiter and she couldn’t help but make me smile. And shout out to Thomas for being such a welcoming manager. Love this place and the food is delish. Will be returning!
It never fails to impress at this place! The fried rice is outstanding, the vegetables are consistently fresh, and the chicken with honey sriracha is superb. The facility is always kept immaculately, and Tomas, the general manager, constantly goes above and beyond to make my group and I feel welcome. I will be returning shortly!

The staff at sushi maki in Palmetto Bay have always been kind. I have never had any issues dining in or ordering pickup.
I think sushi maki could use a good remodel or rebrand to create a better ambiance for dining in.
For some reason, the tables and menus seem sticky to me, perhaps they could be cleaned better.
Either way, I love the food, the boba tea, never had an issue with the service, and they do have options for vegans!
Jorge is the best server ever!! Even though we were a large party, he was super attentive and gave us fantastic recommendations for our meals. Definitely coming back with friends!

Been coming here since it opened. I've always adored this location. And the menu has changed hundreds of times over the years and recipes have come and gone and favorite dishes are added or taken away. And all and all I've always loved coming here. Always fresh. Always hot. Always delicious.
The JB tempura here is one of the best I've ever had in any sushi place. And it's such a simple roll. Salmon. Cream cheese. Fried. The end. And there's is just so special.
The Fifty roll is SO good. Every flavor you could ever want.
The dragon roll is always fresh and crunchy and tasty.
I could eat dozens of their Spicy Tuna tacos.
Their sashimi Is always fresh and very nice thick cuts.
My heart and stomach miss the Silky Smooth Salmon roll more than anything. That was my favorite and my regular order. But it's been off the menu for a few years now.
I just tried their Wicked Tuna sushi burrito the other day. Was also great! Though I do not live in Miami anymore. I always eat here every single time I come down. Specifically this location.
I know sushi maki is a south florida chain. But I wish they would expand to the greater Orlando/Central Florida area. Specifically Winter Park and International Drive. I know they would make great business.
Amazing! Thomas, Randy, AJ, Frenzelle, Erik, and Gail were an amazing amazing staff. They treated our party with amazing service and of course, the food was delicious! I would completely recommend coming here if you want the best service and the best atmosphere in general.
Absolutely EVERYTHING here is amazing. The entirety of the staff and atmosphere is indescribable. Randy, Gale, Thomas, AJ, and Eric have all made our experience incredible. This place is the best.
