I have been going here since for 24 years. I basically grew up eating sushi at Sono, enjoying the company of many friends and family. The owners are really great and accommodating. Some of my best memories were made here and by far it is my favorite restaurant.
SONO is my absolute favorite sushi place in all of NJ, however… it’s very upsetting that we are 2 years into the pandemic and they still won’t open for dine in. The experience you get at SONO is like no other, so it’s very upsetting to have to take out and drive back home to eat. I recommend SONO to
This restaurant has a great selection of sushi and sashimi items as well as other traditional Japanese cuisine and dishes. This restaurant is BYOB so make sure you pick up any alcoholic beverages you might want ahead of time, there is also a spirits store in the same strip mall complex.
Consistently wonderful sushi, entrees, and service at this lovely family-owned restaurant! Have been a loyal customer since they first opened over 20 years ago. By far the freshest sushi and, no matter what you order (sushi and kitchen), it’s amazing! Wish I had more than 5 stars to give!
