I've been coming here for awhile- even when this place was still "The blue corn grill"
The food is the main reason I come here. Delicious and never disappoints! My only complaints are that they seem to change the menu quite a bit...(I guess to keep things interesting) and lately the waitstaff has just been...well, pathetic. I understand it's hard to find good help these days but the young man we had serving us this most recent time was in street clothes, did not greet us, forgot to bring our drinks, got our orders wrong and just straight up made us feel very unwelcome and you could tell he just hated being there. I hope El Charro can find some solid waitstaff because the food, atmosphere, and the chefs are great!

Friendly staff and delicious food. We love Mexican food and this was a great find! Stumbled across it after tubing down the Delaware. Highly recommend it!

This place took over from the old Mexican restaurant that was there. Identical Interior layout, color scheme, tables etc. I think they just changed the name and opened the doors as a new restaurant.
Came here for dinner. Home made Guacamole seemed rather expensive- $13 or $14?
They do NOT have a liquor license so you can BYOB
Had the burrito bowl and other person had a burrito. Food was ok- nothing to really rave above. The chips they served in the beginning were stale and the salsa was eh.
Nothing unique or interesting on the menu.
The atmosphere inside was very sterile. It was clean and tidy but there was no ambiance. Just blah- wasn’t made to feel welcome, staff was NOT engaging at all.
Service was lacking too. Not much followup with the wait staff and at the end, no check was presented. Was instructed to go to the counter to pay.
All in all, place misses the mark. Not very impressed and will NOT go back. There are other places in the area that are better.
Also, on street parking is the only available parking. At least that was free.

The food was fresh and delicious and the service was great. We took a chance on the guacamole with seasonal fruit and it paid off big time! Loved it and will be going back!

What a great little place. Big portions for a reasonable price, and super delicious!!! If you're in the neighborhood you should go. If you're not, you should make a detour for here. WORTH THE TRIP.

Amazing tacos! Fresh guac and pico de gallo🤤🤤

Small storefront on a quaint street in a one stoplight river town. Nothing remarkable about the interior (or the small curbside tables, for that matter), but man we’re those tacos good.
Only stopped in for a quick lunch, but I’ll definitely head back to try something more substantial. This is the good kind of authentic Mexican, not the overpriced or pretentious stuff.

Great food and wonderful service! Loved the shrimp tacos and burrito bowl! The servers were hospitable and even gave us some other restaurant recommendations while we were visiting. Will go back again when we are in this area!
