Authentic. Service wasn’t overly friendly but I went in a bit late (30 minutes before closing). I had G8 Chengdu Spicy Steam Pot (with seafood, meat, and veggies). It was superb with a good mix of eclectic vegetables and mushrooms, fish and beef. It was served with rice and tea.

Brilliant dumplings and absolutely try the “ma-la” lamb soup - it’s so good, balance of the sweet (meat broth) and spice is just wow!!!!! And fish and celery dumpling (house specialty) is a must even if your don’t think you like fish

You’ve gotta get the dumplings. Pan seared pork shrimp and chive is my favorite, add the chili crisp and a bit of vinegar 🤌🏼. They prepare the dumplings fresh (you can see them make it behind a glass screen) and it really makes a difference. The filling is juicy, fresh, and flavorful; the wrapper is chewy without being too dry or wet Also, get the potato salad and the couples sliced beef for the perfect accompaniment!

If you are the kind of person who enjoys a variety of dumplings and noodles, as well as an abundance of both, then Tasty Place is the restaurant for you. This cornucopia of carbohydrates is created completely by hand, and patrons can watch the process develop in a room that is glassed in and is next to the kitchen. The carbohydrates may be served hot or cold, steamed or pan-fried, on their own or as part of a soup. Considering how lengthy the lines may become during peak hours, it's probable that you'll have some spare time on your hands to take care of this matter. The menu is quite extensive and covers a wide range of Chinese cuisine, from Sichuan to Cantonese. This is typical of many Chinese restaurants. The customers who are the happiest are the ones who stick to products that are based on dough, such as soft chicken dumplings with sweet corn or chewy homemade cold noodles topped with ground pork, mung bean sprouts, green onion, and chilies. These pork dumplings with fermented cabbage are mouthwateringly delicious; they have an ideal balance of juiciness, sourness, and chewiness.

The Food If you are looking for a tasty place, this might be something for you, this is the Tasty Place restaurant. The place seems to be around for a while, but not too well known? I discovered this place with a friend and decided to order a few dishes to try. - Pork & Shrimp & Chives Dumpling, Boiled (肉三鲜) - Shrimp & Chives & Egg Dumpling, Pan Fried (素三鲜) - Braised Beef Noodle Soup (红烧牛腩面) - Sliced Stewed Pork Elbow (酱时花) - Shredded Bean Curd (拌干豆腐丝) - Tasty Sliced Pork (小炒肉) Most of the dishes were pretty good, with the highlight being the dumplings in my opinion. The Tasty Sliced Pork was interesting, stir fried bacon with celery. The Shredded Bean Curd had a different texture than expected, but the flavor was good. The Braised Beef Noodle Soup was also not bad, met the standard of beef noodle soup. They have quite a bit of other interesting dishes I want to try, so I'll have to return another time. The Miscellaneous The restaurant itself is along the main street, a bit blended in with the other shops. There are street parking and few small lots around the area, so is not too bad. The restaurant itself is not big, with tables to support parties, but not super big parties. The interior has some aesthetic decor to match the environment of the restaurant. The staff were sincere and efficient at clearing the table to get us seated. The service was also not bad, even though they seem understaffed during peak hour. The menu has a good selection of dish, but they are well categorized so is not overwhelming. Though a bit pricey, the quality of the food speak for itself, so it is definitely worth a try.

This place, Tasty Place, is tasty taste! Parking around the side (1 he except for weekends). Best beef brisket noodles so far in the Bay Area for $10! Pork elbow was also delish. Average around $8-10 per dish yeye.

Friendly service. Clean restaurant. Tried the house noodle and Zha-Jiang-Mian. Really enjoyed the chewy and toothy noodles. The house noodle broth is spicy but good. The Zha-Jiang Mian is a little sweeter than my liking but that's just a matter of personal taste. Also order some delicious dumplings. The pork and corn filling is very tasty. The house dumpling made with fish and celery is also very good. Ordered some frozen dumpling to take home.
