Great place for brunch. Wonderful array of menu items, from traditional omlets and biscuits & gravy to a few different versions of egg benedict. Quick service and great staff. I don't get to make it to Millagville often, but when I do the Local Yolkal is in my list of places to stop.

Local Yokal is our favorite breakfast place in Milledgeville, GA. We eat breakfast or brunch there just about every time we go to Lake Sinclair. Food is delicious, wait staff is friendly and professional, menu is great, facility is clean, bright and very welcoming, prices are right! What more can one ask for?!?

The best breakfast in town! They already know my daughter will want the pancakes & bacon and she loves the different shapes and figures that make them in to. The staff is as sweet as their tea and LY on the Fly has some amazing quick food to go!!!

Great breakfast place. Excellent service (thank you Judy!). The Canadian bacon used in my eggs Benedict was particularly good, but the hash browns came out barely warm. My husband's pancakes were tasty but not cooked enough. But the friendly service made up for any shortcomings from the kitchen...

The restaurant is similar to a diner with art work all over the walls. The best place in town for breakfast. I had egg, meat and cheese sandwiches which were extremely greasy but tasted very good. I would recommend to the kitchen to wrap them in paper towels before serving to reduce the quantity of grease. They offer build your own with your choice of bread, cheese, meat and eggs are cooked to your preference. Service was good, polite and friendly but the waitress failed to offer to refill the coffee. Many locals go to place for breakfast.
Delicious food and super nice wait staff! My husband had the sardou eggs Benedict (he always gets that) and it was delicious as always. I always get the Hemingway eggs Benedict-because I love spinach and smoked salmon. Never disappointed. If there is a small problem they fix it with a smile! We will be back next week!

I was in town for my nieces Kelsee Pounds graduation from Georgia Military College Preparatory School. My family that lives in Gordon introduced me to this amazing little spot. We had a group of 10 and some ordered breakfast and some ordered lunch. A couple of appetizers were ordered to start and although I didn't have any others enjoyed them. All the food came out at the same time and was hot and fresh which was really nice for a group our size and no one ordered the same thing. We all enjoyed our meal and never once had to ask for a single thing, not even drink refills which is always a plus for me. I was not only impressed with the quality of food but also the staff and how well they worked together. Although I'm not a Local Yolkal next time I'm in town visiting family this will definitely be my restaurant of choice for a few meals. Thank you Local Yolkal for some of the best sweet potato fries I have ever had other than my mama's back in the day. And for those of you who are thinking about going order anything and everything, I honestly don't think you can get a bad dish. They got a 10 out of 10 well done from our table π π π
I go to "The Local Yolkal Cafe" every weekend. The layout is very quaint. The staff is very diverse and treat everyone like family. The food is the best and the price is perfect. Yes sometimes you may have to wait to get in, but that should tell you something. You will have the best service and food.
This is the best place in town for a solid meal, food is always elite and the service is always phenomenal. The hostess is very welcoming and professional, and every waitress serves you like family. Judy, Erin, Ella and Jasmine are top-notch servers. Thanks again for another great experience!
This is by far the best restaurant Milledgeville has to offer! I try to go every Friday for the $5 French Toast because of how good it is! I canβt say enough good things about the service and wait staff, they are always on top of things and doing it with a smile. This place has treated this town so well and I hope they keep up such amazing work!!
