So glad we went here. Pizza and burgers were delicious. I didn't expect much from the outside, but it's nicely decorated and the owner was both knowledgeable and nice. We had a Hawaiian and a pepperoni pizza. Real mozzarella cheese. Would definitely eat here again.
I was in Millinocket for 2 days with my girlfriend and we stopped here for pizza after hiking. We got the pat's combo and an Italian hoagie. It was some of the best pizza we've ever had and the hoagie was really solid too. The next day we hiked Mount Katahdin and were so excited to get more after such a draining day. When we called to place an order we were informed that they had run out of dough. We were disappointed after hearing this but we still needed to eat so we decided to go to the competition Millinocket house Pizza (there is no competition). We had to endure one of the worst meals of my life. The pizza tasted like school cafeteria pizza and I also ordered an Italian hoagie. It was a disgrace of a sandwich. Who puts American cheese on an Italian hoagie?! If you're in Millinocket and want pizza, do yourself a favor and go to Angelo's.
I happened upon these nice folks and delicious treats while on my way to Baxter State Park. The duo was so helpful and patient and great to chat with! And my pizza was perfect!!!! Hot and crispy, not overwhelmed with dough and the ingredients were perfectly placed for a pie I could not stop eating haha. I only hope I’ll be back soon. I can’t wait to return. Thank you!!
What a fantastic pizza prior to hiking the 100 mile wilderness. The veggie pizza was awesome with fresh veggies and the owner even had us try out some of their meatballs. Highly recommend for those wanting to celebrate their start or finish of the AT.
Pretty good veggie pizza. They had just reopened and were getting everything set up when we went so they have probably ironed out the kinks but there were some issues with our order. After a long day of hiking this pizza was great.
(We ordered on the phone for pick up and then when we arrived on time the food was not ready and we had to tell them our order. There were many people in the restaurant waiting for their food so it seemed like they did not have their method down yet.)
Ended up getting personal pizzas(10 inch) and garlic bread to share. Perfect amount of food post hike.
Pizzas weren’t too topping heavy and the base was slightly thicker than a regular thin crust with a good bite.
Really good cheesesteak, fries and onion rings. Owner and employees were very nice and friendly!
Great pizza. Not thin crust like Chicago style, but the crust was thicker with a crisp light bite. Melty mozzarella with clean flavor and lots of stretch. Other ingredients fresh tasting. Very small area for seating which was not a problem because many were doing takeout. At that,, place was full.. No delivery service. I did not expect great pizza in the area we were. Recommend it highly for take out or sitting.
