Easily the best pizza in town. Staff is awesome. Worth the wait if you go during busy times. I like to order the pizza a little extra done/crispy . The cheese bread is also phenomenal order that extra crispy too. Very cozy inside. Would recommend 10/10
Be prepared to wait over an hour when they are busy. We were there on a Friday night. Our waiter was good at setting our expectations of the wait. He suggested we do appetizers because of the wait. So we had the garlic bread and salad. And pepperoni and sausage pizza, and the fish fry for the main course. The pizza lookef delicious, but i was disappointed because I did not like the sausage. The seasoning was off, I didn't taste fennel, oregano, or basil. The pepperoni, the sauce, and cheeses were good, but the sausage was a no for me. But apparently, others love it because they were extremely busy with dine in and carry out.
Great Christmas decorations, which added to the atmosphere.
It was my first visit, and I couldn't say enough about the holiday decor. It was absolutely beautiful. Oh, and the pizza was delicious also đ
We order the large pizza and it was huge. It came out on a pan that must have been close to 14"x20" or 14"x24". The crust on the edge is like cracker crust. They pizza was delicious. It was our first time eating there and I had a few questions for our server. He was knowledgeable and friendly...even with all my crazy questions. Atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Highly recommend stopping and trying their great food.
Overall the food was good but it was a bit crowded inside. For the food, we ordered the large pizza and itâs huge. Such a good deal. It was the works pizza and it was really good. The crust is very thin and was nice and crispy. I took off a star because we also ordered meatballs for an appetizer and they werenât very impressive. Kinda bland honestly. The atmosphere had a lot going on as the tables are very close to each other in the dining room. Which also makes it very loud inside. I would order pizza again but probably wonât go in and sit down.
Perfect place to get pizza for carry-out!
Lots of cheese and the crust is nice and thin as well! Really enjoyed these and their large pizzas are big enough to feed multiple people easily.
Went at about 2pm did was fantastic! Chicken dumpling was tasty and pizza was fresh!
Ordered a pizza for take out. Was told it would be a 30-35 minutes for pick up. I was there to pick up in a half hour. Sadly it was very cold. Like it was sitting there for 20 minutes without a heat lamp or anything to keep it hot.
I've been waiting to get back there for the great pizza. Tried to go last week. There was a 2 hour wait to be seated and a possible 2 hour wait for a pizza on top of that. Figured we could avoid all of that by getting a pick up.
The atmosphere is "old Italian", reminiscent of the mobster movies. We were a table of 4, no wait at 4pm on a Saturday but the dining room quickly filled by 5. We were promptly waited on and our large pizza took about 25 minutes. I started with a Caeser salad which I HIGHLY recommend, it was delicious! The pizza has a wafer thin crust and toppings are well proportioned. I personally like a little more sauce but that may compromise the crust.
Just an FYI, don't sit at the table to the left of the front door. Every time the door opens there is a blast of air from outside, this could be bad on a cold or hot day. This day was cold and the gentlemen at that table kept their stocking hats on.
One thing I would change is possibly using pizza stands. Our pizza pan took up most of the table leaving us little room for anything else.
I strongly recommend this restaurant if you want a traditional Italian old school restaurant. ITâs everything I knew growing up. The eggplant fries are a must. My hubs doesnât like eggplant and he ate half the bowl! Thin crust free form pizza the large is about 12âx24â. Itâs about 15 minutes from MKE airport so we hit it on our way out. Mongia!
Can't beat this place!
Been a fixture for many years.
Love the small vibrant atmosphere. And decked out for the seasons!!
Pizza is the bomb!! If you like thin crust with plenty of toppings, then this is not to be missed!
Appetizers are also very tasty.
Beer pitchers are reasonably priced.
Always try to fit in a visit when I am back in town to visit family.
Five star for sure!!
