My favorite breakfast place in town at the moment! Best breakfast burrito in town, hands down. Great food, generous portions, amazing service and fun atmosphere! I highly recommend Canela Cafe for breakfast, lunch or brunch! You won’t be disappointed and you definitely won’t leave hungry

This was my first time, and it certainly will not be my last. This is a fantastic eatery on the east side that is definitely a hidden gem. The service was spectacular. . . From the greeter to our waitress. Just pure joy!!! The food was really good. Had I known the breakfast potatoes were not going to be seasoned, I would’ve chose the seasonal fruit which looked amazingly sweet. We had the Monte Christo and the classic breakfast with bacon, eggs, fruit and pancakes. The atmosphere was bright and airy. They had a constant flow of customers. I noticed that a lot of UBER EATS drivers were coming through. I think people are missing out on the experience of the restaurant. I will be back.

A good independent eatery in a bustling area of the east side. We had the Rueben, grilled cheese sandwich, feta and spinach omelette, French toast, and chocolate chip pancakes. All were good choices. Prices are appropriate. The service was excellent. The bathrooms are clean, updated, and well maintained. Outdoor dining in available and is located on the sidewalk in front of the main entrance. No parking lot - metered street parking nearby.
