Stopped by to loiter on their patio right on the river, grab a drink, and do some work on my laptop. Been a few years since I've been there. The patio is still nice with string lighting and gas fire pit. They didn't have it turned on though since it was a weeknight. Single Bartender he was nice but didn't know how to make my drink which was a pretty common Manhattan. Ended up getting a neat whiskey. Prices were reasonable for a horel bar and a good pour. Plastic glass of water on the side. Gave me glass for the whiskey but plastic for the water I don't get it. Great venue just a shame it's not higher skilled staff.

We were there for our Grandparents Anniversary. The place was beautiful, the set up was very nice. The food was great except for the fried chicken. The roast beef and baked chicken was cooked very well. The sides were excellent. Just wished we could have taken some of the food home. Only thing was off was the sound system. Other than that, this was a very nice place and we will use them again.

Stopped in for fish fry Friday night. The place was packed but that's usually a good sign. The staff didn't disappoint. They said there would be a 45-60 min wait and they were spot on. The staff worked hard to make sure the capacity crowd was served and fed. I enjoyed the cod plate and look forward to stopping by for an afternoon drink.

1st time visiting this restaurant since before my wedding. The head chef at the time cooked our reception meal since my wife & I held our reception here (Hilton Milwaukee Rivercenter at the time). Not sure if the same cooking staff is here, but our appetizers & dinner were so good. My wife & I will definitely be back. Our waitress was polite & also let me customize my meal to something that wasn't on the menu, but similar to an item that was. I highly recommend The Anchorage.

We had a family emergency and stayed at the hotel for a weekend. Of course, when in WI, you need a Fish Fry on Friday. They had just started their Fish Fry the week before. It was amazing. From the soup to the potato pancakes and the fish, everything was very good. Also, save room for the dessert, I had the Chocolate Cake and it was definitely worth the spurge of calories. We will definitely be going back again.

Excellent service for our mother's funeral luncheon Stephanie made sure all details were taken care of and service was spot on. Room was clean and ready for our event when we arrived. Stephanie made sure we were taken care of throughout the event and was on top of anything thst was needed. We would definately book again.

If you happen to be here on a Thursday or Friday evening and sit at the bar, you'll meet Chris, this gentleman is the epitome of what a real bartender is. Attentive, freindly, had great suggestions, actually went through the customers in order on which they arrived and never lost a step, still came over to chat during the down seconds. Remembered customers who had only been here once before. This guy is a true master of the craft. Tip this guy!!!!!!

Absolutely wonderful, we have tried many places for Easter Brunch and have never found the perfect one until this Easter. The staff, food, bar, Easter Bunny, view, atmosphere, ALL an excellent experience. Will definitely be back for years to come. We found our Easter Brunch!!

Pleasant hotel restaurant with nice windows and a great view of the river. The food was fine but not great. Mediocre at best... I was disappointed. Very pleasant, though, but I mentioned that already.
