Looking for a classy small town-esk good diner? Look no further! This diner has fantastic food, pancakes and French toast cut nicely and great toast! Breakfast platters like the steak and eggs, French toast and pancakes come with fresh fruit cup which is refreshing to have with food that fills you up. Their steak was a little bland, but I didn't mind too much, and they know how to cook their steaks.
And to top it off their homemade Milkshakes were Divine!
All toppings you would have with your food is right at the table too!
Service was great, and were attentive.
Definitely taking my family here and spreading the word about Miss Katie's Diner!
The food here is consistently great. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is amazing, and the retro vibes are super cute. One of my favorite lunch spots near Marquette.
Been here twice with wildly different experiences. First time was for breakfast, and the skillet was delicious, 10/10, INCREDIBLE! Second time was for lunch and the quality was quite the opposite. The meat on my patty melt was dry and chewy and the fries were badly burnt. The sausage links were red on the inside, and when we politely brought it up to our server they almost immediately dismissed it for whatever reason. Shakes are good. Would only ever go back for breakfast
I had the asperagus omelet. omg the asperagus was tender yet firm. I have never been disappointed here.
The food was yummy I enjoyed the broiled pork chop
I ask the folks at Pabst mansion where is a good place to eat. They recommended miss Katies diner. And the food was fantastic.
First off the food is tops. Secondly the place is a time capsule from my youth. Best ice tea I've ever had. Looks empty or closed from the outside with tinted glass and a couple good sized weeds growing and I almost passed on it. Sure glad I didn't. Great service too!
Great place, excellent service, food is good.
Breakfast was delicious 😋
It was a random decision to try this place. Looked it up on google and yelp while driving back to Chicago. I just tried the French toast with two eggs and coffee, which were good for me (hence the five stars). Can’t really say much about other food items since I didn’t try anything else. But the interiors are quite unique and something different from any other diner.
Worth a try in my opinion!
My husband and I literally just landed from flying in from the south.
My husband loves to look up reviews especially from Diners, Drive -Ins and Dives television show on food network.
We absolutely loved it ,
we had such a sweet and cheerful waitress and our meals, oh our meals were so delicious and then we had their famous chocolate malt.
WOW, WOW, WOW
You definitely have to try out this restaurant.
Believe me... You'll be sending me a personal thank you card because this lady will tell you the truth and nothing but the truth.

Food and service was great! Definitely will visit again. Really enjoyed the potatoes chips. Cajun chicken and beer batter chicken strips was very good. You must try the malts.
We were a large group, food and service was great, a fun retro place.
This was a hidden treasure! The owner and bartender were so friendly!!! I was in Milwaukee on a scheduled business trip and learned that Game 6 of the NBA finals was being played there. I watched the game from Miss Katie's with some locals and had such a wonderful experience that I went back the very next night! HIGHLY recommend!
The diner atmosphere is great. No pretention. Just friendly smiles and a genuine feeling of them wanting you there. I had the beef tip special. It was good. Not a whiz-bang kind of delight, but certainly not something I would avoid in the future. My friend had the ribs. She was definitely in heaven.
The chocolate shake is amazing. You can get a malt or a shake. Being as someone who cannot stand malt powder. I only do shakes.
The lemon cake was delectable. The cake on top of the shake was a bit much on the sugar for one sitting, but I went home and drank a lot of water and got on the treadmill to calm it down.
Miss Katie's was able to accommodate our robotics team dinner of 70 people. The food was delish and the service was superb! I can't wait to go back!
Its a typical diner next to Marquette University. Service was great. Place was clean. Parking is limited mostly to the street and a small parking lot in the back.
Had the Eggs Benedict. Country ham was thick and had good chew. The Hollandaise sauce was the best I ever had. Very creamy and a slight tang to it.
Frech toast was good as well.
Would definitely recommend going for just the Eggs Benedict alone.
