Wow! I was so impressed at my first visit to Carinis. This restaurant has been around forever, 20 years ago I took drivers Ed in the business next door and it was there then too! It was a Sunday and my usual places were closed, so I looked at restaurants near me with 5 star reviews and this one came
Truly the best place near UWM. Food is extremely cheap for the perfect Italian quality Carinis provides. I took my girlfriend here on a whim and was blown away by the amazing food and comfortable atmosphere. Waiters are so kind, and the chef/owner is the kindest pureblood Italian men I’ve ever met.

Okay restaurant. Large portions, a bit pricey. Servers are very nice, but the ceiling fans could use a good swipe. Food tastes just like any other Italian American food, no surprises there, tastes exactly how you expect it to. Good place for family meals or meeting.

I was traveling on business and enjoyed dinner at Carini's. I sat at the bar and had great conversations with one of the owners and a bartender. Both were super friendly and really made me feel welcome. My meal, pasta dish with vegetables and shrimp, was delicious.
