Beautiful room and views. Clean and luxurious. Close to Miller Time Theater. Walkable. Monarch Bar was absolutely stunning. Chop House for steaks and Miller Pub in same building. The room doesn't show well in my photos, but it was beautiful.

Incredible curb appeal. The common areas and lobby are stunningly beautiful. The hotel is dated but given that it is more than 100 years old it is expected. Staff is wonderful and friendly. I know that some of the reviews criticize the cleanliness and elevators but my room was very clean and the elevators worked just fine with very little wait (I spent 6 nights in the hotel and never waited for an elevator). My room had a HUGE adult-sized porcelain tub which was very nice. But, there is one thing to keep in mind before booking. Being a older hotel, they are on a two-pipe system for the first 18 floors. What that means is that if they are on the cooling system, there is no way to warm up your room and if they are on the warming system, there is no way to cool your room. The first 4 nights I was there my room was uncomfortably hot and once they switched to the cooling system the last 2 nights were comfortable. The upper floors/premium rooms have independent climate control. When you book your room, make sure you can control the temperature if that is important to you. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay. Be sure to pet the puppies in the lobby.

The Hilton Milwaukee City Center was absolutely stunning. The interior took me back to the 1920s. A time of truly opulent design and architecture. The hotel itself was immaculate. The rooms were very clean & cozy. They had a few restaurants within that offered a different dining experience for all. I enjoyed them, you will to. The even had two dogs that live in the hotel and greet you in the lobby!!! I had a super experienced here, I promise you will as well.

Lovely hotel and my room was perfection. Catherine at the front desk was incredibly helpful and professional. A 5-minute walk from the train station and great view of the lake on the upper floors. Would definitely recommend for a carless weekend getaway!

Classic, clean and comfortable hotel in the heart of Milwaukee. It’s great walking distance to both the 3rd St Market and Public Market (with the river running between the two). Check-in was fast and with ease and their employee, Edwards, was so welcoming with lots of recommendations for the restaurant hotel, hotel amenities and beyond. Looking forward to returning for another stay.

Nice location, professional staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean. It is an older building so the bathroom was small and didn't have a vent, but part of an older building charm. Dining was available on site for all meals but nothing was included with the stay. Bedding was old and needed to be replaced as the stuffing in the bedspread was clumped together or gone. There were also holes. Lots of construction around so for now the view was meh. We had a room looking over the flag pole but no American flag flying. Not sure why? For staying in town Milwaukee would recommend due to location.

This one took me by surprise. I've actually been here before and rant and raved over this place for years. Rooms are amazing. Showers are 💯. Staff is very good and the best part is the bar/restaurant on 1st floor. I know Miller high life is actually not the champagne of beers, but don't let the name deceive you. Great drinks (Murphys and telly) and bartenders are amazing. This is a definite go to if in the Milwaukee area. 5 stars all the way and we'll deserved.

Came to this hotel and it started out as a bad experience with the front desk staff and when checking out I spoke to Ethan Hamilton the Director of Front Office and he explained everything and cleared it all up for me. He was attentive and understanding of the situation and made sure I left better than I walked in. I will recommend this hotel. Ask for Ethan

Incredibly charming lobby, takes you back in time. Staff were friendly and prompt. I ran out of in-room coffee pouches and some were delivered to my door in minutes. The flip side of the charm is the dated rooms, extremely small bathroom (the door doesn’t open all the way because it bumps into the shower curtain rod), and there is low water pressure. I feel bad for the 4 stars since staff couldn’t be better, but the room is lacking for the cost. Edit: just met the hotel’s puppies. 5 stars 😂

Great location, beautiful lobby, amenities and room. The bar downstairs had live music which was great. The only disapppintment we had was paying an additional $38 to park in the garage on site.
