Looking for a Vegan place to meet my taste requirements. This place has over 4 stars on Google. Drove from Waukesha to eat here. Did not disappoint! Great environment. Large selection of food. And I tried 4 different things. Came here with someone else and we were both very happy. Fast service, friendly staff. Hot delicious food. My new favorite go to vegetarian/vegan place.

Every neighborhood needs a Riverwest Co-Op!!! Sad that the cafe is no longer open BUT you can still get a BBQ tofu wrap and other classics in the deli cooler.

A great oasis for vegans, and especially vegan travelers. Being on the road and eating plant-based can get tricky, but MKE has this covered well. We had Tofu Scramble, biscuits and gravy, and French toast. It was a beautiful day, we sat outside and enjoyed conversation and some sunshine. I think the food could be better overall, but judging by the amount of business I also understand that keeping up with high demand can come with slightly less attention to detail. Bonus: picked up items for our hotel kitchen while there from the Co-op. I'll be back next time we are in town!

So lucky to have this In our neighborhood!!! The proper place to dine if your afraid to eat meat 🥩 for whatever reason! Not strictly vegan in the Cafe but almost all plates have the option... Decent enough grocery selection just hope someone someday will talk these folk into carrying some humanly raised antibiotic free meats 🍖 or something besides offering the fresh turkeys 🦃 for Thanksgiving (which are out of this world FYI)...

It was good and I’ll return. I ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy and vegan sour cream with a side of potatoes. Biscuit was a bit hard, I’m not sure if it was fresh baked or from yesterday but that’s my only complaint.

Sad to see the cafe closed, hopefully one day it'll be back since the food was delicious. Anyway, the grocery has a pretty good selection for the size, with a decent bulk food section, some hard to find vegan ingredients and interesting local finds. It's on the pricey side for some things, but I like to stop there and support the co-op

The phamous Philly with Vegan cheese was amazing. I people watched for a while and enjoyed the bottomless coffee.

An excellent choice for vegan or vegetarian! Breakfast, lunch or dinner served inside the cozy cafe oy enjoy the nice weather on their ampl sidewalk cafe! Weekend brunch is not to be missed. The attached grocery/health foos retail store stock all the staples plus supplements. I always enjoy the soups of the day & the various deli salads & vegan sides. This is a co-op, staffed by many volunteers so be sure to tip generously. You can't do better than a meal & a stroll through the historic "Riverwest Neighborhood."

This is my new neighborhood spot! The cafe is has INCREDIBLE vegan options! The rest of the cafe has a smaller selection of produce/goodies, but the cafe is 100% on point, with a large section of different vegan options, super impressive and VERY reasonably priced for what you get! I became a co-op for $20/annually after my first visit!
