Decent takeout place for Chinese food. I thought it was a little unusual that half of our sweet and sour chicken box was filled with fried rice instead of chicken.
Amazing food, always gets my order right even if I ask for a modification. The only Chinese restaurant I go to for take out
I Live in Mission,TX. Egg foo young is one of my favorite dishes I can't get it out here the way I like it, my son was coming for a visit and placed a big order of the different flavors for me at Great Apple I also asked him to tell them that they give me the biggest patties & they did not disappoint me those patties are big. I had to have some chicken flavor shortly after he arrived, the taste was exactly as I remember and it took me back to when I lived in WI and ate a full meal there. It was incredible and I really enjoyed it.
I have tried making different egg foo young recipes myself but they weren't even close to what I was enjoying from Great Apple. Best part is I have 21 patties to enjoy for a few months to come.
For the quantity and quality, this place is King. We got the shrimp fried rice and there were so many shrimp AND it was the best. Plus the container was huge. Cashew chicken, big pieces of chicken, plenty of cashews and broccoli florets....happy tummy. We had it with the brown sauce which was the right choice!
Good food, fairly quick, nice variety! This is Chicken Broccoli. The vegetables are cooked perfectly!
Friendly service, pretty quick, really nothing to complain about. If you're not in the mood for a lovely sit down meal at Sze Chuan, this is a solid place to pick up a quality version of exactly what you expect from a common American Chinese restaurant. Portions are very generous and many dishes hover around $10, some less.
We think this is the best dinner takeout. Big helpings. Very fresh food. Reasonably priced. We usual go for the Kung Pao Chicken and Shrimp. It's really good. One order easily feeds two, with leftovers for next day's lunch.
Note though that this is a "take out" place. They have a few tables, but I've never seen anyone eating in.

Delicious, plentiful food! Their sauces are all a bit too sweet, but their dishes are prepared perfectly. Lovely light crunch on all of the chicken. I have family that's been ordering from here for decades because they've always loved it so much!
I think it’s safe to say that I know my Chinese food. Ever since my favorite Chinese restaurant (Double Dragon) closed down I’ve been trying to find a go to place for my Chinese food cravings. Great apple so far has been the most consistent place i order from you get the most food for your money and the egg rolls work for me!
I had to add another star this place is so consistent it’s one of the very few I feel deserves all five stars. Keep it up great apple love the food and the service. Y’all work so hard and I really hope you take a nice vacation you definitely deserve it.
Good food made right in front of me. Great staff, never had a problem here. Usually order delivery service but today chose take out. Food was hot and on point.
Went for their lunch special and like always was not disappointed at all. Big portions served in an aluminum pie tin. Was smoking hot still when I got home to Waukesha. Good quality chicken. I loved the fried rice that came with it. Ingredients seemed fresh and veggies still crisp and not soggy. This is my favorite Chinese food place around.
This is my favorite take out style spot. I have been here many times. I always call in the order on the phone then pick it up. The food is very good with great veggies and meat. I have never had any issues with my orders.
I love how tightly they package their food so nothing spills! Also, I love that egg rolls and the orange chicken. Lastly, I love how they put the orange sauce separate from the chicken so it doesn't leak and about if they put too much or to less of sauce on the chicken. PERFECT place to order from! Ordering that today when they open at 4
