Always a treat for me to eat here. My husband introduced me to this restaurant 23 years ago and we’ve been eating here ever since. We drive 3 hours to Milwaukee to enjoy the food. Highly recommend!!
Love Tres Hermanos! Their all you can eat tacos on Wednesday's never fails at being sooo delicious. They even catered our wedding and people still rave about how good the food was. Good music, nice decor, clean, extremely friendly staff and good drink specials! Their horchata is yummy too. We would go every week if we lived closer, but we still try to go often (Wednesday's) because it's definitely worth the drive.

We drove down from West Bend Sunday to try it out for the first time. Friendly server, but the food, it was excellent. Wow, we had steak enchiladas and steak tacos, and we've never have steak so tender in Mexican food. Can't wait to go back. Thank you!!

Have been eating here for over 3 decades. Things have changed over all that time but still a great place to grab a meal. When them fresh chips and salsa arrive it's always tough to save room for your meal.
Great place to get authentic Mexican food! I'd love to come back when it's warmer so I can dine on their beautiful patio. Definitely recommend. *Update: I have finally eaten outside in the beautiful space they have. The tables have umbrellas so you won't get sunburned. Staff is always super friendly and service was great. An all around great experience. Food is moderately priced with meals right around $13 and $8 margaritas. Definitely recommend.
I recommend their shrimp fajitas they're were so amazingly great!!! Waiter was very attentive too. Sadly, the restaurant was empty. Give them a try and you won't regret.
Its a local place here in Milwaukee, and we did not know what to expect, so we took a chance.. WOW O WOW is all I can say.. was so good and amazing..Will be back for sure...

This restaurant is my new Mexican dig, and I am glad I was introduced to it because when it comes to Mexican restaurants, there are so many in the Milwaukee area that I'm at a loss at where to start. I'm truly grateful to my coworker for bringing me there.
The service is very fast despite the large menu, and the servers have always been very friendly and welcoming whenever I visited. I've ordered about a quarter of the entire menu so far and every entry has been a hit - packed with flavor and in portions equivalent to their prices, which is on the higher side though that is mainly due to the unfortunate inflation situation plaguing the country therefore something they are not truly at fault for. But to further emphasize on the portions, the jumbo-sized burritos are aren't filled with carb fillers (rice and bean) but rather very generous amounts of meat, ensuring you're getting your money's worth. Also, this is not your typical westernized Mexican dig, they have entrees more catered towards true Mexican cuisine.
Overall, I continue to be excited returning to this restaurant to further carry on my exploration of their menu. But if you need additional persuasion, know that the (very friendly) owner is a liquor connoisseur and if you ask him he will be more than glad to proudly pull out his rarer collection for you. I don't think I've had smoother tequila anywhere else, and I hope you'll all give this place a try.
We 4 celebrated my birthday at Tres Hermanos today with great margaritas and food that was excellent. To top it off, our waiter was friendly and charming. This will become our go-to place for Mexican food.
The bar is fun. The vibe to me was kind of liken you find yourself in an old, worn neighborhood Mexico City or Havana late at night and you find a shabby-chic little dive bar to wander into. And have a great time!

Today was my first day here. Oh my goodness. The whole experience was totally awesome. The service was totally awesome. Thank you Faustino. The food had total flavor, I thought for sure I was in mexico. I couldn't eat all of my fajitas. There's enough for breakfast and lunch. A very hearty portion. I will definitely be back. I'm not seriously complaining, but I was charged $5 over the posted lunch price for a take out. COVIC 19 adjusted pricing? Who knows, I usually tip $5, so a $8.99 lunch special was actually +$10... taco trucks here I come.
Delicious food. Started with the steak quesadilla, that was wonderful, steak cooked perfect and nice and cheesey. Then for me personally you need good tacos and went with the Al pastor tacos with corn tortilla. Very good, well rounded spot for lunch and or dinner. Love this place.
Delicious! Haven't been to Tres Hermanos in many years, but there is a reason they are still around. We had the steak torta, chicken and steak fajitas, chimi dinner, and a combo of enchilada, tostada, and taco. All were excellent! And THE best chips and salsa. In addition, service was great.
We will be back.
My go to Mexican place. And when I say "go to", I mean I don't live in Milwaukee any more, but if I am back in town, or even a hour or two away, I will always go to Tres Hermamos, as I have for over 30 years. Even though i travel the country, and have eaten at literally hundreds of Mexican restaurants, every time I return I am reminded - they are the benchmark.
For those who complain about the quality of the food or the poor service... you guys better stick to Chi-Chi's!
This is excellent REAL Mexican cuisine that is prepared fresh, so it may take a few more minutes for your food to arrive.... have another margarita then. The atmosphere is nice, the service is prompt and accurate, if not overly bubbly which I hate anyway. They have a nice large patio area if you want to dine outside, although it can be distracting since it is close to a very busy street. And the value can't be beat. We ordered 2 mid-upper priced dinners, an appetizer, and 3 margaritas for $47 which is quite reasonable in my opinion and makes it worth the drive to a not so desirable part of town.
All in all this is one of the most authentic and most importantly CLEANEST Mexican restaurants I've been to in a good long while and I can't wait to go back again.
Fajitas are the best you'll find, and be sure to treat yourself to a Margarita, best served on the rocks, not blended, with a salted rim. I'd give them more stars if that was an option.

I called in for a pick up order and I have to say that not only was the food and price was amazing but the service was the BEST. I ordered a special that only cost $40 and the taste of the food was amazingly delicious. I'm going to be a customer for life as long as nothing changes. Best restaurant in my book. 💯😋🎊🎉
