I have been seeing this place for 4 years now since it's near my doctors office. I had never stopped by because I'm not the biggest fan of pan. But recently I heard they have great breakfast sandwiches & they are open early (REALLY hard to find good breakfast spots open before 8 or 9 these days). My husband & I finally decided to try & WOW. We were blown away. Now we are the biggest fans! The tortas are sooo amazing (which says a lot from me bc I'm very picky with bread). The pan is actually so tasty. The salsa is unbelievable. The chorizo is sooo good. I want to try everything they have on the menu now. I'm so sad I didn't try this place sooner but I'm excited to have my new favorite spot. Great for sitting down or taking it to go! Support this hidden gem!!! I knew it was a family owned business which has been around for 50 years. But now I totally understand why they have been! It's so delicious!! Oh and they have such a friendly staff!!!

Definitely the best food ever. The soups and all the products are fresh and all of them elaborated in the kitchen. All the plates are flavorful and it seems like I was eating in PuertoRico. I hardly recommend this place because the customer service is excellent.

I've always looked forward to the South Shore Farmer's Market because it would mean that I could pick up a bunch of their fantastic tamales. I recently moved into Milwaukee proper and not far from Lopez Bakery, as luck would have it! We wanted to try something new for breakfast and it's within a reasonable walking distance from our new house. I ordered the breakfast burrito w/ chorizo, which came with complimentary warm, yummy tortilla chips and mild & hot salsa bowls. The burrito was delicious and perfectly portioned for a quick & satisfying morning meal. Coffee was great: hot, smooth, strong and my cup topped off often. After our meal, we picked out an assortment of baked goods to go that included apple & strawberry empanadas, caramel filled churros and chocolate/vanilla striped cookies to fuel our friends during their long day moving. ALL the bakery offerings were absolutely fantastic! Fresh, pleasingly decorated and sized to fill. This is definitely a new breakfast tradition for us!!!

I religiously go to Greenfield Farmers market on Sunday to pick up both their hot and mild salsas for the week and a couple tamales for a late breakfast. All their food is spectacular and truly authentic. I don't want to eat Hispanic food anywhere else. These great people know what their doing and I cannot wait to visit their brick and mortar soon!

We used Lopez Bakery for our wedding desserts and everything was perfect! We had churros, Mexican wedding cakes, cinnamon heart cookies, and mini apple empanadas - all delicious, of course. Cindy was a pleasure to work with and the food at the restaurant, which we tried when we were sampling desserts, was excellent as well. Definitely check them out the next time you're craving great food & desserts!!!

Stopped in on my way to work. Had amazing chimichangas, a huge bakery selection, and hot coffee. I paid $9.60 for 3 chimichangas with rice and beans, chips & salsa (the Verde was delicious) and bread pudding. I will definitely be stopping by again.

They're customer service is very pleasant, very clean restaurant no complaints. Also the bakery that I've gotten there has been scrumptious!! sadly though the neighborhood has become a cesspool the bakery is amazing.

Tasty food, inexpensive and in large portions. Highly recommend the chorizo burrito! Waitress was quick to refill our coffee. Cafe area sparsely decorated, but had some pretty murals and busts of Santa Maria. Free chips and salsa of course. Was there with groupon-esque coupon. Highly recommended.
