First time here. Has been on our list for a while. Heard good things about it and we were not disappointed. Street parking can be an issue, but we found a spot a block away. We had made reservations and got seated right away. Friendly host and waitstaff. Our waiter Paul did a great job with explaining the menu and shared his recommendations. The food was very good. We ordered the artichoke appetizer, chicken parmigiana, and the special lamb shank. The food and drinks took the right amount of time to get to us (not to fast or slow). Very good preparation and flavor. The sauce on the braised Lamb Shank was extremely good. Chicken Parmigiana was one of the best we have had. My only suggestions; the artichoke came with four pieces of bread. A couple of extra would have been nice (there was a lot of artichoke). And both entrees temperature could have been hotter. We will definitely put this on the "dine again" list. :)

Great atmosphere and wonderful food. Had the swordfish livornese, gnocchi genovese, wood roasted beets and canoli. Drinks were on point. I would just come back for the cocktails alone.

So glad we found this place. We were seated right away and our server was super. Our drinks were delicious (traditional Old Fashioneds - not Wisconsin ones). Food was delicious and plentiful. A great experience all around and a good value too. Highly recommend - check it out for yourself.

This is an interesting place, it is in an old large two story home, down stairs is a restaurant and there are apartments upstairs. There is also seating out front on the lawn and in a tent. The food was very good with some different Italian things on the menu. Everything was tasty.

Me and some coworkers went as a group of eight to Sorella for a holiday dinner, and we were all impressed by our food and the great atmosphere. Food was reasonably priced, especially for the premium quality, and our service was good. It's in a very cool area of Bay View, and the eight of us all said we'd go back again.

The rigatoni ala vodka was fantastic. The chicken picatta meatballs were quite good. The pizza with the gianciale was a flop even though it had nice optics. I bet pancetta would work better than the soggy guanciale. Definitely too many scallions. Maybe we ordered the wrong pizza because the char crust was decent but the overall flavor was just meh. It's too bad that I couldn't overlook this.

My husband and I went here for our first time over the weekend. We made a reservation, but we arrived early and were seated right away. All the items we had here were remarkable. We split the Arancini, Green Beans and Broccolini pizza. It was all delicious! Definitely recommend Sorella and will eat here again when we are in Milwaukee

Casual dining in an open setting. Ah, feels good. Nice place for families and conversations. Not a huge menu, but nice work on the food and service was very friendly. I had gnocchi veal dish with peas. Tender! My wife had Chicken Parmigiano and my son had the Pork Chop special. Pizzas also looked good.

Great Italian restaurant. Smaller menu but everything tried was great. Known for pizza and pasta dishes, Cavatelli with Monday sauce pictured and was excellent. Would go again.

We thoroughly enjoyed Sorella. The waitress was very kind and suggested drinks and menu items. The food was delicious! The fig & arugula pizza is something I’ve never had before but it all worked together really nicely. I do recommend getting a protein with your pasta, I didn’t and I felt as though it was missing something. I tried the chicken and it was crispy and delicious! The cannoli was delicious - I recommend sharing between 2 people. The only unfortunate part about our experience is that our reservation put us outside in the tent and there was a gap in the tent walls right next to us. Our jackets were on the whole time and our legs felt cold throughout dinner.

I have never had a bad experience here. Pizza is phenomenal, service is great, and atmosphere is spot on. We always get the chop salad, so good! Pizza is great also. Wish they had a rotating menu and switch up the pizza options. Meat and pasta are hit or miss.

Sorella was absolutely great! The layout and design was very well done and I loved the art that they had in the space. The food and cocktails were phenomenal: we had a Manhattan and a lemon drop, the chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and we tried one of their pizzas. This is definitely going to be one of our new go to spots and I’m excited to enjoy their outdoor area during the summer. Enjoy local!

Artichoke scampi appetizer was to die for. Wide selection of pizza toppings and we didn't even make it to the pastas and other dishes on the menu.

We visited Sorella for a weeknight dinner in August. The experience was excellent, with good service and delicious food. It was easy to make a reservation on their website for a table on the patio for our group of four. The servers were masked and the tables well-spaced, which we appreciated. Our group started with the blistered shishito peppers, which was a nice appetizer. It's always fun to see them on a menu. For mains, we had: Pepperoni Pizza - my favorite thing we tried. The wood-fired crust was delicious and the hot honey was so unique! Definitely would get this again, and would highly recommend. Mushroom Pizza - delicious crust, food sauce, overall really nice. Would have liked to see the whole pizza covered in a layer of arugula, I'm a fan! Eggplant Parmigiana - I didn't try this one but it looked delicious and our friend liked it. Especially the burrata! Shrimp Scampi - I didn't try this one either but our friend enjoyed it. I will say the portion vs. price seemed a little off. Housemade Cannoli - I never order dessert but heard these were delicious. So good! Definitely order one. (They're a nice size, we shared one between two people.) The limoncello was also really nice and a good way to cap off dinner. Sorella is a great addition to Bay View's restaurants, and I look forward to going back! (I'll be dreaming of that pepperoni pizza in the meantime.)

This place has been on my saved list for awhile. Finally we were able to try it. We tried the shrimp scampi appetizer and the pork belly appetizer. The shrimp scampi was unbelievably delicious the rich buttery sauce that surrounded the shrimp ,WOW!! We could not get enough of it! The pizza was hand crafted to perfection. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food they served! He was hustling this place was packed on a Tuesday night. If you decide to go there make sure you get there before 8 because that is when they stop serving! Excited to go back and try the pasta!!

Paul has done a wonderful job with this restaurant. He is creative and down to earth. The menu is unique and the presentation of the food is well worth its wait. Great wine and cocktail list. Ambiance is very nice, and inviting. Outdoor seating is also available.

Pretty good meal at sorella with handmade pastas and pizzas, fresh mussels, and amazingly fresh yet unique cocktails We came over to celebrate my friend's baby being born . Turns out, they come to sorella every Friday. You know how good it is when that happens :) highly recommend the mussels, cavatelli, and cheesecake. I remember having the meat ie. Pork chop last time, would recommend those especially because they rotate their menu If you're here just for a bit. I would 1000% come here JUST for the cocktails COCKTAILS : 🥒Buzz Word - super fresh with cucumber juice, house chili tequila and salted mint syrup. The perfect refreshing drink if you love cucumber like I do! 🍸 Carmela's Garden Martini - looks like a martini but tastes like a bloody Mary. They use tomato water and you can see the olive oil on top. So creative! FOR APPETIZERS: 🐚Baked mussels with oreganata (highly recommend) - very plump , flavorful with lemon, butter, garlic, and oregano + crispy breadcrumbs 🥬Cacio e pepe artichoke - never seen before . Crispy fried with cheese & black pepper. Definitely something I can't make at home! MAINS: 🧀Cavatelli (highly recommend) - the only homemade pasta on their menu. It comes with something called the "Monday sauce" + ragu, broken meatballs, sausage and ricotta 🍝Soft Shell Crab Spaghetti (special) - nice and crispy soft shell crab with a light & fresh tomato sauce. Spaghetti wasn't home made though 🍗Chicken Parm - nicely done with flattened breasts & crispy baked 🍕Pepperoni Pizza with additional mushrooms. Amazing crust at the ends and not too heavy. Middle might be a bit soggy since it's a bit thin For dessert, their strawberry cheesecake was AMAZING More on Instagram @midwestmunching

Sorella has a great patio. However, we ate inside as we had a group of 7 people. The staff was friendly and helpful. They did a great job of taking care of us and answering the many questions. Drinks were great and food came quick and was delicious. Would definitely go here again.
