I always stop in for their fantastic seafood salad, potato salad and some times, their rice pudding. The food is always very good and the owners are always welcoming and friendly. Pay them a visit soon!

It’s an outdated deli but it’s what gives it its nostalgia of a much simpler time where food doesn’t have to look pretty to taste good

I love Werner's. Back when we first moved to the area me and my boyfriend would go often. The food was always great and the owners extremely friendly. We stopped going as often over time, and it got to the point where we hadn't been there for at least a couple of years. Yet still we walked in today,
Around 1970 or so, there were two delis on Jericho Turnpike, Johnny’s and Werner’s. (honorable mention to Ardito’s, which is still there and apparently still owned by the Ardito’s). I noticed Werner’s was still there. Werner must be about 100 years old by now. When I checked it out I learned Werner
The cook food is pretty good, I love pastrami Friday. The owners Sue and Kim is very friendly and accommodating with any orders. Almost forgot, the homemade pies for the holidays are great, preorder for pickup.
Been eating here nearly every day for 12 years. Sue and Kim and very kind, and make great food. Sandwich creations are all great with tons of unique choices. Chaminade Special is always a favorite.
It's clean and still has DECENT quality food, but drom what I have heard and seen the store has changed hands, and now the past owner only comes in about one day a week to check up on things. Good portions; is it as good as when I was in high school? I don't think so and that was 2009.

Order from here 3 times a week for delivery. Great food, always on time, owners on the phone are very nice and orders are always accurate. Can't go wrong choosing Werner"s.
I used to stop there most days when I was working in new Hyde park meats are fresh and they make really good sandwiches I'm no longer in the area but stop by once in awhile now
