Great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff.
I was visiting the neighborhood to go to the Walker museum and wanted to grab a bite to eat. I stumbled across this place and I'm very happy I did. I'm sitting at the bar now and Andrea is taking great care of me!
I ordered the Pastrami Reuben and it came with a Tortilla Soup (Tortilla, chicken, black beans). The soup was a great start to my lunch. A little spice kick, in a good way. The Reuben was delicious! Perfect portion and a good amount of meat. I was not disappointed! Fries were cooked well and the right amount of crunch.
I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the neighborhood.
I had a great breakfast at Eggy’s. I was looking for a local breakfast place and not a tourist trap, overpriced restaurant. It’s local, walking distance from the hotels nearby and the prices are reasonable. I had the Irish Skillet and a Bloody Mary (my favorite) and both were delicious. The staff were pleasant & courteous from the time I entered was great and being here from Chicago to come watch the football game made me feel like I’m back home. I will definitely recommend Eggy’s to my anyone who’s in Minneapolis
A bright menu with VERSATILE breakfast.
Street parking, perfect for an Uber drop off, riding with friends, or being right off of downtown buses. Really close to Loring Park and beautiful walkable streets. And there is nothing else happening in the area at breakfast time.
Some breakfast favorites are always available pancakes, eggs, but there is a lot of effort been put in to having a unique spin on a breakfast and making it a standup taller and take a bow.
We ordered multiple menu items, and the service was great, the food came out quickly, and it is delicious
Cheese curds for breakfast was new, and it came out to be a nice surprise.
THE restaurant attracts every different kind of person, so economic group, and background. So it’s an easy place to feel comfortable.
This is wheelchair accessible both from the front of the restaurant, and pulling up to the back, the back has a lift that is for wheelchairs, and the bathrooms have a sign that says that they are accessible, I don’t know that I can try to get a wheelchair through the bathroom because of the trashcan placement on the wall. But definitely, you can get a walker through the bathroom.
The most delicious waffle ever. Fluffy, crunchy and yummy. The waitress really listened to our orders and was careful to fulfill them.
Still a great spot for brunch in Minneapolis. Food is always fresh, delicious, and great portions. Inside and outside seating. Good service, friendly and helpful. Some new items on the menu, the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken is amazing. Definitely a must try. Tip: try the cry baby Craig's habanero garlic hot sauce.
Loved our breakfast. We had a crew of 5 in town for a comic con convention, and there was something on the menu for everyone. Everything was delicious. Breakfast tacos, chicken and waffles, gyro omelet, and more all were delicious! They even had gluten free pancakes for me because I have an allergy.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast here. We had an omelette and a skillet. Both were delicious and loved getting a pancake instead of toast. Fantastic coffee and superb service. I will be back m X-ray time we visit.
Went to Eggy’s while we were staying at the Doubletree this past weekend. It was a quick walk from the hotel and it was worth the walk. Yes the hotel has breakfast, but Eggy’s was a better breakfast. I had a skillet with the best pancake. I wanted to try the French Toast, but I didn’t have any more space. The staff were friendly and the food was good. What more can you ask for.
Eggy's is a great place to stop. The environment and the food are excellent. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and absolutely loved the flavor and the side potatoes. Friendly, available staff.
I found this place online on my last day in Minneapolis. The weather was perfect the entire weekend, but on that Monday it was really drab and a bit windy. One of the reviews mentioned that they have really good hot chocolate. I don't know why, but that sold me lol. Upon arrival, no one was at the door (the place wasn't packed at all), but when the hostess spotted me, I was seated quickly. They have a really great selection of breakfast items. There were quite a few things that I wanted to try, but I asked my server because usually know more about the food and the people's choices. The server highly recommended the Puerco Picante and Mexican Skillet. I opted for the former, but was later told they were out of pulled pork. She then recommended a new item, Fried Chicken & Biscuit. I hesitated because often times (unless it's a Southern restaurant) the chicken isn't seasoned so the meal is not tasty. I shared with her that I'm a Southerner and why I was skeptical. She told me that she'd ask the kitchen to put a lil extra season on my chicken and I happily obliged. I also ordered the breakfast potatoes, grits, bacon and, of course, some hot chocolate. I can honestly say, the hot chocolate was delicious. I would've ordered one to go, but when my Fried Chicken & Biscuits arrived I couldn't believe how big the portion was. It was HUGE! This is definitely a dish you should share. I give it a 5 out of 5. It was beyond delicious. The breakfast potatoes were fried too hard for my liking and the grits were horrible, but I think it's a region thing. I think Southerners cook and like their grits a certain way. And that's understandable. Thankfully, my server forgot to put the bacon order in because I couldn't eat one other thing. I couldn't finish my Fried Chicken & Biscuits. I tried, but it was just too much....what a good problem to have. I noticed that as I sat trying to finish my food, more patrons arrived. My server was really nice but not really attentive. I had to call her over to get some more water. But that doesn't take away from my experience, she was really nice and helpful. To management, keep the Chicken & Biscuits in the menu and perhaps, even offer a ½ portion. This is a MUST try while in Minneapolis.
I have been here twice. Both times it has been very busy but the food was great! If I recall correctly, we had to make reservations each time. If you are driving here, finding parking can be a challenge because you have to find street parking. The staff is always busy and not as attentive as they could be. However, the food and coffee is delicious here!
**uber eats delivery**
Pictures are the Nutella French toast, chorizo breakfast, & pancake breakfast.
Not pictured is the grilled cheese, cheddar grits, & avocado.
Delicious, everything was seasoned perfectly & cooked as requested.
The grilled cheese was odd, it was not grilled but still good lol.
Iced coffee & black coffee were much needed, no complaints here.
I really enjoy Eggy's, but usually have it delivered. My last order was missing the two drinks, and it seems like it's impossible to get anyone on the phone. I left a voicemail right after the delivery, several days ago, and have called a couple of times each day since then during less busy times (according to google), but no answer and no callback so far.
A great local breakfast restaurant in the neighborhood. 5 mins walk from Hyatt and only one block away from Loring Park. It’s always crowded on weekends but it seems to slow down a bit between 11 and noon. Friendly staff and they also serve alcohol.
