My sons and I decided to check out Northbound for ourselves after hearing great things from others. We tried the sweet and spicy wings as an app and loved the smoky flavor of the chicken along with the sweet zing of the sauce. Between us we tried the Reuben, the Porketta, and the Brisket sandwiches. We were all impressed with the smoke flavor of the meats. Not as excited about the fries and chips, but all of the meat had excellent flavor. Highly recommended!
After being re-aired on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives, my girlfriend and I decided to check out this quaint neighborhood restaurant. Of course it was busy the day after being on TV, but we were seated soon and had excellent service. The beers were great, the food was even better, and the service, even on a busy day was outstanding. I had a cheesesteak that was terrific with a smokey, but not too smokey flavor. My girl enjoyed a Cuban Rubin, which was outstanding. We'll be back real soon. P.S., try the Blueberry Bramble drink. FANTASTIC!
I hate to disclose this secret, but it has the best food, chicken wings, brisket, turkey,,everything.this is a absolute must visit..I love it!

I had a friend in from out of town and had never been here before. Deciding to check it out was the best decision I could have made. Chrissy and LA were beyond fantastic, 10/10 that I would recommend.
Awesome beer; awesome food! I visited a lot of breweries on my trip to Minnesota. I loved every beer I tried at Northbound, which is something I cannot say for most of the others. And the food! Wow. One of my new favorite places.

Friendly and efficient wait staff. Lunch menu pretty limited to sandwiches n stuff. Food well prepared and served. Excellent selection of crafted beers and ales. The Dopplebock was fabulous!

The food here is fabulous! Everything my family and I ordered was great! We ordered the bean dip for an app, typically something we wouldn’t go for, but the taste was surprising! It was slightly spicy, and had a great cumin taste. I got the Brew Day Burger, and I was very happy with this decision. The quality of the beef was stellar, and the bbq sauce was a great pairing with it. The bbq sauce was not very sweet, it’s more on the smokey side(which is a pro for me). The side salad was a huge portion, and it had a great vinaigrette drizzle. I also got the beer cheese soup, and it’s the best i’ve had. My family got the reuben and the build-your-own-bowl. We were all very impressed, I highly recommend.
This is one of my favorite spots in the Twin Cities. There’s a wide variety of food offerings here for all sorts of diets and I’ve never had anything less than excellent. The 18-Hour Porketta sandwich is an institution here and it lives up to the hype.
Came here yesterday for lunch and the food was excellent! The waiter was very helpful and friendly. For appetizers we got the sweet and spicy wings which were really delicious ! For the main course my partner and I got the fish and chips and the bacon BBQ burger. The fish tasted extremely fresh and the size of the fish was a pretty decent size. The BBQ burger was extremely delicious as well. The beer selection was also pretty impressive. I got the Millions of Peaches and Them Apples. Great place and super affordable! I would definitely return.
Really, really good barbecue. The BBQ sampler platter is $20 and outstanding. Also, the wings are a must-have. Big, delicious smoked wings with a variety of homemade sauces. Great service as well. Cool neighborhood spot that you will love.
We had a great time, food was excellent, service was fast and friendly. We ordered the poutine, BBQ platter and burger, it was delicious.
Cozy, neighborhood brewery and pub. Solid selection of beer; during the month of October, they had a number of 10 year anniversary specials on tap, which were great. The Porketta sandwich was tasty and the hand cut fries were delicious. Looks like a nice patio space for warmer months.
I’m not much of a sauce girly, but I literally come here for the sauces! Oh, and they have the best cheese curds on the planet (with amazing sauce).
Fantastic overal experience. The food was delicious, I think these are the best wings we've had in MSP and the bbq meats were delicious, my favorite was the ribs and porkietta, my husband liked the brisket. Highly recommend and this is now one of our favorites and a go to
Great BBQ! Brew beer in house. Very good. Don't update the menu as quick as the beer, though. Always a good lunch spot if you want a good food for decent price. The beer seems like it is more of an afterthought the last few years, but again, still good.
Food is very good, lives up to the reviews. Portions were huge, and definitely recommend their poutine. A great place for some smoked meat and bar atmosphere.
