Stopped for a late lunch and it was great. The margaritas were huge, the lunch special was tasty and the staff super friendly. Also shared the deep fried icecream for desert. Only drawback is you need to park on the street. Small price to pay.
Great experience, delicious nachos, we were just a little surprised by the prices. We support the family business and will be back. We also loved the frozen and flavored margaritas. As you’d imagine, the chips and salsa are addicting and we kept asking for more!
Tucked away off the corner of 34th Ave S. & E. 50th St. is Dominguez and what a neighborhood gem! This place has a welcome feel that is cooking up authentic dishes. The Chicken Tacos are some of the best I’ve had in Minneapolis, no joke. The Shrimp Fajitas come out sizzlin’ and tasty! 🤤 The Chicken
Solid little Mexican restaurant. Chips were great, salsa was good, house margaritas were very good and quite reasonable at $7ea. in fall '23. Rice and beans were pretty good but the tamales were what made it, fluffier than most we'd had but would happily order again and again. Felt slightly expensiv

Excellent Mexican food. No doubt about it, best Mexican food in Minneapolis. They don’t have a full bar but they do have margaritas and wine in bottles.

The food is fabulous, fresh and delicious. Huge selection of dishes, excellent salsa and warm tortilla chips. Chips. They have the best chef ever!
We really enjoyed eating here. They brought out the kids plate first which was very helpful for busy parents with two kiddos. The food was very tasty and the chips appeared to be home made.
This is incredible authentic Mexican food. The chiles rellenos were incredible. Not grease but coated in a light batter. The carne asada is tender and so delicious. We can’t wait to come back.
The food here is so good. It is like sitting down in the Dominguez families home. This is some of the best Mexican food I have had outside of the southwest.
Amazing little restaurant!! Our server was busy but still on top of it! Fabulous recommendations on sauces to pair with our meals. The food was phenomenal!

To be honest when I drove up to it I didn't want to go in. My gf and I decided to give it a try and we glad we did. It was some of the best Mexican food both of us have ever had. Definitely a must if you're visiting the Minneapolis area as we are.
