The patzaria (beets) alone will make me come back. SO GOOD! You also get pita with your sides if you dine in. It’s fairly self service, but when the staff did come they were so friendly and talked about their favorite dishes. The way they prepare the frites as well were so tasty. They’re cut really
Great food and service. Entrees are sizable and can easily be shared. The Greek fries are a must. Everything comes out hot and tasty. The Piaz is worth going back for also.
We had the most heavenly meal last night. My husband had lamb chops (arnisia paidaikia tis skares) and they were absolutely superlative, and so was the rice they were served with. Gardens of Salonica has the best vegan dishes I’ve tried anywhere in the Twin Cities. They also have outstanding wine. I
Gardens of Salonica has a pretty large menu compared to most Mediterranean restaurants I've been to. The lunch menu had a decent array but I'd like to go back for their dinner, which I assume has more entrees to choose from. It was hard for us to decide what to order, everything was great though.
Amazing food! Last night we enjoyed Plaka, a cod filet, and lamb riblets. Both were generous servings, flavorful, and delicious! Service was good, I definitely recommend this restaurant. We'll be back!
Simply breathtaking with the character of the outside of the building is just the beginning. The food is simply to die for. Also the wait staff is phenomenal when it comes to paring their wine with the food that they have on the menu. Simply top notch!
Don't be out off by the non-descript appearance. (It's difficult to find in the dark as they have no lit signage. ) Food and service was excellent. It will return.
Let's be real: We all hate the new "Dining Out After COVID" experience. Attendance & ambience are sad, menus are limited, ingredients & freshness aren't always as reliable as before due to unknown inventory needs... But I walked out of Salonica happy this evening. It was our first time there (ever)
My new favorite Greek restaurant. Every time we come we find a new favorite and Anna invites us to try something new. Today she brought us stuffed squash blossoms which were divine and full of flavor!
I. Love. This. Place. My friend has been raving about it forever and I live out of town so finally made it today... every bite was delicious and the genuine kindness of our server was wonderful. When you're ready for a relaxed experience, check this place out. SO DELICIOUS!
Simon was amazing waiting on my mother and I, had the lamb gyro w/fries with wine, was a lot of food! I also had espresso drink where he told me my fortune based on how the coffee grounds fell onto my plate, and he was spot on!! We ended with a desert, ice cream scoops and boughatsa’s(Al-a-mode styl
We attended the traveling wine dinner #8 at the restaurant last night. Anna & her team put a lot of love into the menu and wine selections. Loved that she sourced everything possible locally and the salmon from Lake Superior baked in seaweed was AMAZING! I'm looking forward to attending again in
Yum best Greek food we’ve ever had. My husband and I are both vegetarian and they had many options for us. We tried the fava, yigandes, ambelomades, and two dessert. Everything was fresh, flavorful and excellent. Truly the best and most authentic greek food out there. Thank you!
From the lamb, to the mushrooms, this food is worthy of Zeus, Apollo, Hera, Athena and the rest of the immortal gods. Seriously though I highly recommend this restaurant, I have eaten here several times and it is one of the things I look for to when I travel to Minnesota. The Lemonade is a must try
