Best tamales I've ever had! Everything we've ever bought here has tasted fantastic!

This little market has some great products and for a reasonable price. We found fresh cactus fruit finally! And they are huge. Authentic Mexican products for sure. Definitely try the hot fresh food they serve. They have the biggest bacon wrapped stuffed jalapenos ice ever seen and they were so good! I'm from Texas where tamales are life and these tamales are literally the best tamales I've had in Minnesota! The masa is so flavorful and they over stuff them with either pork, chicken or Rajas. All are equally as good. Now for the desserts. The chocolate flan is a must but the Churro cheesecake is to die for!

This market is a hidden gem in Minneapolis! Tucked in the middle of the block it offers fresh produce, a grocery store and delightfully fresh bakery and cakes. Sold whole, by the slice, cookies and fresh sliced fruit. They have a butcher! The counter is solid. It is immaculate. Offering fresh/ marinated and fish. I appreciate the Mexican flank steak. I also purchased chicken breasts, and ceviche all fairly priced. They have hot food! The chicken tinga is a favorite. (They had red peppers on the grill searing. The store smelled amazing.) I also ordered barbacoa. There is just a lot going on here! And the guacamole! I am very picky. I am not being polite. I just am being straight up. The staff is welcoming and the clientele supports the neighborhood, there is not a large retailer here. I wish this was my local store. It's that great. It's now my local 'take out.' I am not being paid for this! Do yourself a favor, give it a shot. You're welcome.

What a wonderful little grocery store. They have a small parking lot with an entrance off Nicolette that exits into the alley. The place is bright yellow and impossible to miss. FRESH TORTILLAS and other baked goods. They have hot food you can get Togo. They have all the candy you can think of that will remind you of childhood. My partner loves coming here to get the mentioned tortillas and candy. They have amazing produce as well. Seafood, beans, rice, tortillas, and more.

Anytime I need produce or dairy and don't feel up for a grocery run, I can run here as I live around the block. The deli/hot selection is amazing. Today I grabbed tamales and guacamole and it was so good. The guacamole was made fresh and chunky just as it should be.

Very tiny but bustling, tasty place. We love it here and come all the time! The staff are very kind and we always feel welcome. They have beautiful produce, house-made chips (my favorite thing to buy!), a big case of freshly baked pastries, a stupidly tasty hot food counter (carnitas!), and a handsome butcher counter.

I always grab some al pastor, chorizo and asada when I'm there. Great pico and guac too! Still have to try one of their rotisserie chickens.

I think the strength in this place is their deli. They have excellent guisado (stew) selections which vary from day to day but I can always find something delicious. Get their chicken tinga with some fresh tortillas and you're all set. They have tons of other offerings you'll enjoy. Their meat department looks really impressive but I haven't bought from it yet. Easy parking in their lot on the south side of the building or easy street parking.

Great friendly staff, great homemade Mexican food and other essentials such as guac, salsa, chips, tortillas. Has a butcher section with carne asada and other things I’ll be coming back for plus fresh produce items too. I wish I lived next door.

I was in charge of planning a surprise party for my mom's 60th birthday. Last minute I had a freak out and decided there was no way I could make enough food for 30 ppl in the amount of time I had. We had a fiesta theme so I literally drove by this place and called them on a whim. They assured me they could make the food and have it ready (the party was only two days away). I was a little worried, but I had no other option. The food was AMAZING! What a relief it was. The price was very affordable and we had more then enough to feed everyone. The employees were very helpful and the food was ready right on schedule. Everyone at the party raved about how authentic and wonderful the variety of food was. I could not have been happier. I will be sure to visit the store again and recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Amazing place for fresh, authentic Mexican food at very reasonable prices. All of their selections are tasty and flavorful. I highly recommend the carnitas, salsa verde, either beef selection, rice, fresh chips, warm tortillas, guacamole, and the tres leches cake for dessert! Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with anything here and it's worth a stop for Cinco de Mayo, Taco Tuesday, or any other day you're hungry for deliciousness!
