This was our first visit. It was easy to find and park on the side street. Could smell the delicious flavors from outside. We were greeted and seated right away. We enjoyed checking out the colorful mural while waiting for our food, which only took maybe 15-20 minutes. Our party of 3 all tried different dishes and enjoyed them thoroughly! Nice flavors. I had the steak inihaw, which was 3 skewers of delicious beef and small green pieces on a bed of garlic fried rice. The charring was just right, and the rice was perfect. I think my only suggestion would be to have more vegetables with the dish to balance the beef. My husband and son had the Adobo chicken and the Inasal. Nothing was overly spicy, just very flavorful.

Came here for a birthday meal and it was delicious! What a cute and quiet little shop. We had lumpia, shrimp pancit, and halo-halo. Everything was delicious. The service was fantastic and the food was very good. We will be returning.

Great Filipino food! We stopped by during Happy Hour and the apps were delicious and well priced. We also enjoyed a tasty Halo Halo! As a Filipina, I really enjoyed the “bar food” take on traditional filipino food ☺️ We also loved the decorations - it reminded us of the Philippines without being over the top. We hope to be back for karaoke soon because we really enjoyed the overall atmosphere!

Fantastic food! Ordered 7 dishes and they were all great. Highly recommend!! Our Vegan even found something delish.
Only slight bummer was music was a little loud and had Mad Max on, which is okay except if there’s kids around.

Food is always amazing, the drinks are great, and the staff is awesome. Every time we come here, we leave happy. Such a good vibe inside as well. The Cubano sandwich is my go to meal.

Hello! This restaurant has been on my "need to go list" for awhile and I'm disappointed I didn't go sooner! I will start by saying thank you to the staff for the great service and very clean, chill environment! The restaurant itself is a smaller more intimate place that's very simple but beautiful. The menu itself seems very thought out and detailed. Each item had a good description and I got a general idea of what I would be getting. The drink menu was also very descriptive and inventive, I don't think I've had drinks that are this complex before in flavor variety. Now the food itself is some of the best I've had, truly the chefs know what they are doing and want to please the guest. Everything was cooked perfect and had such intense flavor that kept everyone at the table thinking about it way after dinner. I'd recommend anyone to this place as it feels very welcoming and can cater to most people. Most of the menu can be had as vegetarian which is an added benefit! I'd recommend getting the pork belly fried rice and the flan for dessert, absolutely incredible! Thank you again to everyone at Apoy and to anyone who read this review, have a wonderful day!

I make the drive to come here once a month! I HIGHLY recommend the Bangus Milk Fish, hands down the best I’ve ever had!!! It’s the most unique tasting fish in the ocean in my opinion, along with the Smokey grill taste, it is out of this world! 5/5 recommend! Bring your friends.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥

This place is great. The vibe is so nice and relaxing. Easy to chill and talk for a long time with friends. The drinks are very interesting. If you're up to experimenting, I recommend their drink menu. The staff is friendly and down to earth. Really can't go wrong with this corner restaurant if you're looking for a fun time out

Great place with great food. Cubano was rich, buttery and simply amazing. Some of my knocks are that the Adobe is incredibly salty and even though I love my salt, it was too much. In addition, the fries were cold and stale. Not sure if the fries are supposed to be like that l, but they were more like potato chips than fires. There also seemed to be one main waiter serving the entire restaurant. A lady came to serve here and there but for the majority of the time there, it was a solo act. Dude was a champ and did the best he could. Expect to wait about 45 minutes for food and seating is limited. Looking forward to the next visit.

By far the best food I have had in Minneapolis! Heard about this place in March, and have been trying to get here every time I am in the area and it finally happened. This place did not disappoint. Andrew greeted us with a friendly warm smile, the atmosphere is fun and comfortable. It's a small little bistro where the staff are smiling and very helpful. I will be back! Great job Andrew!

Great Filipino food, the lumpia was fantastic and the serving team was helpful and friendly. Street parking was a little challenging. Highly recommend and will return. Be careful on busy nights, they do take reservations.

Cute establishment with friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. We ordered Adobo and Filipino Cubano. They both visually look great. However, Adobo was a let down. Too much vinegar! I'd also prefer a thicker sauce. The meat was a bit dry. The Flipinon Cubano was flavorful. Nice combination of grilled bread, cheese, and pulled pork. It tasted great. Though it was really salty. We had to have it with rice (from Adobo) though it's still recommended

Finally tried this place. The restaurant itself was alittle of the small size. Parking kinda sucks because it was just street parking so if ur planning on going as a group, it's best to carpool. Got great customer service. The food was good..the price to try the Kamayan Feast..to me personally, it was not worth it. From their pictures, looks like alot of food, but it's really not. If you've never tried it, still worth a shot to go, try n have the experience for yourself. Also, if u do the feast w/ a child, the charge for a child (10 n under) is the same as an adult.

Always a good time every time I visit Apoy! Food and cocktails are great! Dinner is my favorite time to visit! It gets very busy at times so you should book reservations if possible! If you want a fun night come on weekend for karaoke it. It’s really fun!
