A great nostalgic BBQ joint in NE Minneapolis. Our server was very friendly and efficient. Lots of cool autographed photos decorate the walls throughout. The food was fantastic and super fast after order.

Very friendly service and exquisite barbecue. The smell of Barbecue Cooking is worth the visit. The ribs are a dry rub and have great flavor on their own. There are two House BBQ sauces, regular and hot. Real homemade onion rings as well. A beautiful bar area and lots of history of celebrities visiting over decades.

If you love dry robe. Short ribs, this is heaven! The ribs are almost too well cooked, which leaves the meat clinging to the bone lightly. It is perfect! The flavor is awesome!

We held our 100th school anniversary in October and invited a number of food trucks to serve our guests outside. It was chilly, but that did not stop our guests from enjoying amazing eats from Market BBQ. The line never got back up too much -- the food truck staff were very efficient! Thanks for bringing your A-game and elevating the experience for all our guests!

Excellent food experience! Our server Tiffany was amazing . We had the BBQ beef commercial, the pulled pork sandwich, hush puppies, and catfish bites. EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD, well presented and yummy, we've made it our mission to try everything on this menu lol

We used Market Bar-B-Que for our first company event and everyone loved the food! They were very easy to work with and made our work event that much better. The Market team was so nice, and all the sides were delicious! Would definitely recommend.

We used their food truck for a company event (over 200 people). Their team did a fabulous job and served delicious food. They also accommodated multiple serving times for our shifts, which we really appreciated. I will absolutely use them again.

Nice place. Cool staff, down to Earth. I had the chili and a couple beers while I placed and waited for a to go order. Very nice selection of local breweries. The chili was good. Timing was perfect with the to go part. The ribeye was fantastic, best I've had in quite a while, even better than mine. Fish and chips were excellent. The fries aren't my favorite but not bad, the potato wedges were very good. Loved the brisket and the whole smoked wings. They also did a very nice job packing everything up and including all the sauces and napkins. Thanks guys, I'll see you again soon.

I came out with a friend on Saturday for lunch and we had a wonderful time. The server was attentive and friendly. The decor is lovely and atmosphere is nice. As soon as you walk in, there is a smokey BBQ smell in that air. I loved it. Most importantly, the food was delicious. We had a few drinks. The bloody mary was delicious, I think they use a dill pickle brine mix, which is my favorite. My friend ordered a cocktail, which she enjoyed. The drink prices were good. I think the bloody was 7$ or 8$. We ordered an open faced pulled pork sandwich and a brisket meal. The pulled pork was delicious and definitely homemade. The brisket was soft and melted in your mouth. The thin fries were well seasoned and tasty. I'd recommend folks check the place out for BBQ, drinks, and a good time. The interior is lovely, the service was great, and the food is homemade, fresh, and delicious. There is a parking lot out back, which is convenient. The only critical comment I have is that some of the prices on the menu for some items seemed oddly prices, like the shrimp. However, other food prices were reasonable for the quality of food. This place has been around since 1946, and that itself is a reason to come check it out. And... it's not a corporate joint! It's definitely a local gem. Check it out for yummy bbq.

I have never eaten at their restaurant before today. Any previous experience with Market BBQ has always been through the food truck or the fair grounds. I LOVE this atmosphere and the expanded menu here in NE Minneapolis! I'm so glad we ventured out of our suburban neighborhood tonight! TIP TIME: There is limited parking at this location, but plenty of seating inside. So, if you don't want to fight for a parking spot or walk a couple blocks, come out on a Thursday! TIP #2 They don't make their own desserts. Instead they partner with another local favorite, Sara Jane's Bakery in NE. They serve up fresh baked personal pie options to choose from. They are amazing! I love the cherry and strawberry rhubarb. My husband loves the key lime and french silk. They have 3-4others too!

Pulled pork sandwich was excellent. Hush puppies were good. Mini donuts were decent. Fries were cold, but that probably was the delivery. I would eat their food again.
