God! I wish we had something remotely close to this east African cuisine in Dallas. Was one of the recommendation from DHRR and it was a wonderful experience. We got the family platter with goat Curry, jumbo steak and chicken. Plenty of flavorful food enough for our family of 5 for 2 meals. The tea
We had never tried Somalian food before but it was excellent! A favorite was the goat mandi and Ke Key. The chicken mango curry was excellent as well!
Came here on a Sunday night for dinner. The location is in a shadier part of Lakr Street, so do be cautious of your surroundings.
However, the food is great. The restaurant has a fast casual feel where you order at the counter and wait for your food. There is an attached banquet hall for parties.
First time trying Somali Food and it was delicious! Very similar to latin food with a twist of Indian herbs! I didn’t know what to expect and I was pleasantly surpised.
I was given a complimentary Somali Soup. It’s like a Beef Stew but mainly beef & potatoes, thicker fluid consistency and loaded on
Good food and customer service. Revise your prices and I will promise you more customers... Giving 5 stars for trying.
I really enjoyed the tea and sambuzas. We also had their hummus. Atmosphere is open and inviting. Interesting art. Bathrooms could use some general cleaning and repair.
Normally, i post pre eating pics... this was so good...i didn't have time to take the pic before it was done... eat here, you'll love it.
The food was good! Service was awesome. I loved the vibe and the decor of the restaurant. Will go back for sure!
I sincerely enjoyed my breakfast here at safari today. Foule Madamas with pitta bread is one of the most delicious meal at safari. Start your day with it. Had a great experience, great customer service and great hospitality.
Great Somali restaurant! If you don’t get mango drink you’re doing it wrong. Get the goat or lamb.
