In Minnesota, Popeyes is the champ among fast food restaurants if you like chicken. They still taste like they're using the original recipe from the original restaurants down south, way back when. Service was great and quick. If you want spicy chicken this is the place, and you're not going to get Red Beans elsewhere either!
Been meaning to try Popeye’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich for a while. Chicken breast was crunchy on the outside, moist & juicy on the inside topped with a delicious spicy sauce & pickles to finish it off! Highly recommend!
Popeyes has fallen off in the past few years, but their new truffle sandwich is pretty good.
The chicken sandwiches at Popeyes are the real deal. They are fantastic. I’ve eaten nearly a dozen of them over time since they were in stock again. I’m still torn whether I like the spicy or the regular better. Even better, instead of fries you can get the mashed potatoes. Those are fantastic also. Now I’m hungry just thinking about it.
This Popeyes is on the North side. It’s “away” from the other areas of North and kind of sits alone by itself. If you’re going to hit the drive through, take a smaller vehicle. The corner after the window is TIGHT. Smaller cars have a better chance of getting through without getting scratched.
Best fried chicken in town! They only do drive-thru right now, but customer service is fast and great!

I just wish they would open the inside of the store in Broadway. When they teens who do not drive have to walk through the drive thru I am fearful someone may hit them.
Everytime we have had fresh food. The apple pies are f in delicious. You can tell the manager Ahmed has a great team! Don't come here because it gets too busy when I need my chicken! Ravishing review! Will be back! Support the businesses we have left especially if they have great service! 👍
The only thing that differentiates this place from other Popeyes is the fact that it's either super busy or kind of slow there's no in between. You're either going to go right through the drive-thru with no weight or you're going to have to sit in a line of other cars.
Food was fine. Drive thru was fine.
Be warned ⚠️ that MPD 🚔 was pulling people over turning into the parking lot and slowing everything down while they blocked one of the exits.

Typical Popeye's, not great but very good. The neighborhood and boarded up windows everywhere however...yikes! Watch your back in this area.
