Great sandwiches-they have this one sandwich called a "McChicken" (I took a picture to show you). I always enjoy seeing what my local business owners have to offer. What will Chef McDonald think of next? I think it's the kind of place my dear friend Harambe would have enjoyed during his short time in this world.............
I may be somewhat prejudiced because I worked at this store for 9 years from june 1987 to September 1996. It was a great place to work, eat and socialize. The owner and managers were all first rate folks then. Last summer I visited the place again and was highly impressed! Keep up the good work.
Forgot my straws but hella fresh and hot
I stopped by today because last night someone forgot about my cookies and there so nice and awesome at this location especially bernard he said don't worry about we take care of it. He went ahead and re made my order awesome service and great people also the ladies up front were very nice and polite! thank you guys seriously one of the best examples of customer service I've seen in a long time this place is awesome
This place usually has service when it's busy. It attracts in part a college crowd because it's near the U of M. However, it also attracts a rougher crowd so to speak. It gets super busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Not as busy during the day time. It's pretty quiet in the day time. Very large place. There are two floors.
I will say, though, that I was waiting outside after having gone through the drive thru one time and they forgot my order. I went in after almost an hour and got my money back. The manager gave me cookies, but not my meal in return for free. That's my critique. It was incredibly busy that night, though, and I had shut my car off, so they probably didn't see me.
Sometimes the staff isn't friendly. Sometimes it is. It varies with who you get, but I've never had any problems with any of them. They all do their job and no one was ever rude to me.
A worker another time fixed my order for free. Like I said, it varies. I thought she was better than the manager.
As a McDonald’s addict/officiando, I was both delighted and very afraid when I noticed I was moving to a dorm 3 blocks from one of their beautiful restaurant locations. My delight and fear have both been justified in my time spent in Dinky Town, for the fact that I have visited this McDonald’s too many times to be considered healthy. The only thing keeping me from wanting to visit this spot, besides my sense of shame, has been the fact that it always takes a very long while to receive my order, regardless of how many other customers are in the store. While I would like to believe that this is because the employees are preparing my food fresh, just after I order it, I know this is not true and that my waiting for my food is not usually necessary. 4 out of 5 stars.
It was decent. Typical micky dees. I order a carmel sundae and add oreos to make it a cheap mcflurry wit carmel and for someone reason dude was tryin to say they dont do that but once the manager got involved we got to the bottom of it... The mcdonalds is better than most. Food always "fresh"
I was going to buy ice cream w a gal and they gave her a large ice cream and me a smaller one. However, one of the beauties in there saw that I got a smaller amount of ice cream then he asked for it back so he could make my ice cream bigger. My ice cream cone came back and it was the largest ice cream I have ever seen in my life. This did wonders for my ego and totally impressed the gal.
Went there at 12:30 one night and just wanted some McNuggets. Was cash only so I left disappointed. An employee in the parking lot saw me leave and asked why I didn’t have food. Told him I didn’t have cash and he said he’d give me what I wanted for free. Got it to me and it was great. Had like 15 nuggets in what was supposed to be a 10 price meal. This place is a staple and needs better reviews.
First multi-level McDonald's in Minnesota. Counter staff was friendly and delivered fresh, hot food in a timely manner. Sorry to hear that this fixture of Dinkytown might be overrun by greedy urban developers. This restaurant has always been predictable and consistent.
