I thought the presentation was beautiful. A little pricy for ramen, in my opinion. The noodles were firmer, which I liked. I got the spicy ramen, which could have been more spicy. Overall, the service was good and ambiance was low key, which I liked.
Place is soooo much bigger than it looks like from outside. Food is pretty much the same in price and quality. No parking lot whereas uptown one has a parking lot. Place is clean and light, staff is friendly. I always order Chicken buns along with anything else. Also it is not as busy as I expected. Give it a try!
Solid flavor for both Char Siu pork ramen and takoyaki. Pork was tender and falling apart to the touch. Noodles were perfectly cooked and the broth very savory/satisfying. One of our party members was served the incorrect order.
The best place for ramen hands down. Had the Char Siu ramen also known as Tonkatsu ramen as other places. The broth was very rich and tasty. It also came with large pieces of sliced pork belly which were an absolute delight.
Nice place to grab ramen if you’re on the University of Minnesota campus (not sure I would go out of my way to eat here—there’s much better places in the city). I opted for the char siu ramen which was flavorful and a hearty portion. The interior is nice, and while service was friendly, it seemed a little aimless. For first-timers it was confusing as to where to order, how to pay, etc. If I’m in the area I’ll stop by again, I’d like to try out some of the appetizers.
Fantastic!! I’ve been searching for delicious, more traditional ramen in the NE area and this is it. I got the Shredded Char Sui which has their own hot sauce in it that brings a ton of flavor. I can’t wait to have more!
The service friendly and the food was delicious. I ordered the kimchi ramen which was very spicy and delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants some spicy ramen.
Amazing and delicious Japanese food. The service was fast and the entire restaurant carries a nice atmosphere. Will definitely go back again.
Food was prepared quickly - I ordered through a delivery app. Their bao buns are amazing and a must try if you have not had one before.
Delicious! Cool atmosphere too. The ramen was amazing, but my favorite thing was the pork bun. We got there early so it wasn't open yet, but there were people waiting outside for it to open. Now I know why. Very very good!
Interesting atmosphere. Very quiet and noticeably darker than most restaurants. Usually not very busy. Food is freshly made on order so its steaming hot and service is much faster than most sit-in dining. Affordable, but the quality doesn't suffer from it. Good place for students who want to eat and study or meet up for dinner.
I think I just had a weird experience; I came after being a regular at the other Ichiddo location so I'm pretty confident in my order. I ordered the Tan Tan with extra egg and she said: Wow, you must be hungry. I mean, I guess.. that's why I am here? The bowl itself was disappointing compared to the other location but maybe it was a one - off. My Tan Tan was not spicy but almost had a weird minty taste to it. I simply asked for the check with my bowl mostly full and the server tried to help, she left me with: Oh you were not so hungry? Was it not good? And I did not have the heart to correct her. I am giving this five stars for the ambiance (it is very clean, lots of seating) and the service was attentive and quick. It was just a little disappointing that the bowl was not what I expected in taste.
The food here was great! It was my first experience with more authentic ramen and I was definitely impressed with both the flavor and the service. They let me order an meal to go to bring my dad and they packaged all the components separately so they wouldn’t get soggy in transit.

The food here was very good. The noodles were advertised as spicy, but they were not. Even though the noodles weren't spicy, they were still delicious! The place was not busy at all when we arrived around 6pm on a weeknight.
