We had our annual gal friend get together here last night! The food all around was top notch! The best part was our server Mike! He was the best server ever! We will be back! Thanks Mike for making our experience even better!

We had a Lenten dinner at our church tonight (Wooddale Lutheran in St Louis Park) and the food was provided by The Gold Nugget. I heard nothing but great comments about the tasty food. Our guests came not only our church also two other churches in SLP so hopefully we are spreading the word about how great a place the Gold Nugget is. Thank you for providing us with a great meal
We recently moved to Minnetonka from Ann Arbor Michigan and luckily found this place. I have never had a bad meal here. They consistently provide excellent service. I have tried a variety of items from the menu and everything has been very good.
Our favorites are the burgers. They have the best burgers I have ever had anywhere. The bison short rib burger is my all time favorite and is not always available.
Best shrimp tacos I have ever had! Imaginative menu with a LOT of burger choices. Comfy booths, nice ambiance and great service. Gotta go back to try the burgers...
We came on my birthday with a party of 4. The wait was suppose to be 30/40 minutes. The manager did something I had never seen before and walked around with an Apitizer for everyone who was waiting. And as soon as we sat down our waiter knew how long we had been waiting for and did an amazing job taking care of our group!
Took my god mother to her favorite breakfast spot. I am so glad she chose this place, delicious!
Love eating there and I am a huge burger fan....tried the Ruben Brat last night and it was fantastic. Our server was top notch and she was fun to interact with!
Great food and even better staff! They were so attentive and we were never thirsty! The cheeseburger wantons were fabulous!
Excellent day at Golden Nugget yesterday. My family and I were there for Father's Day, I ordered a Grilled Cheese sandwich with fries (an item I hadn't ordered before) and it was perfect! My family and I will be back.
Food was amazing!!! Everything!! Service was amazing as well! Definitely recommend it! And when we come back for a football game we will definitely return!!

Call it The Golden Nugget or a hidden gem, this Minnetonka eatery knows can cook several kinds of cuisine in cravable fashion
The Jambalaya was my jam! Just enough heat from the meat and stew, accompanied by a textural contrast of classic dirty rice and cravable crustaceans made this a delish take on a Cajun Classic
The enchiladas were ever so elevated by the slightly spicy guajillo chili served in no small portion--and that includes the holy-buckets-worth of cheese! My foodie friend had this pipin' hot order surpass his expectations
And finally, a burger made with brisket--How could that be bad! No beef with this menu chief, which continues to win TGN's monthly burger battle between two new beef creations where the victor remains on the menu I loved the sweetness of the tomato jam, the bite of the poblanos, the addition of creamy garlic aioli...And of course, such a hefty handled requires a robust brioche bun for consumption
The Golden Nugget is certainly a valuable find--and I promise, it's no fools gold! With options for every appetite, you'll probably have to go back and find more favorites. I recommend trying mine... or mine to find your own supreme selections!

Lovely patio. We were pleasantly surprised with the food. Unique menu options and flavors than your normal tavern type restaurant. The wontons were amazing! We will be back.
Went here for Valentine's Day because my husband saw it available on Open Table. Thought it would just be basic burgers and other pub food. They had a pretty good Valentine's Day dinner menu. Food and service was great!
We love Golden Nugget! Great outdoor seating and the food is always very good. Their ‘gold-fashioned’, their rendition of an old fashioned, is amazing.
The prime rib was perfectly tender and delicious. This is now our go-to place. I love their fish and chips too. Lobster mac, they got it, and it’s perfect.
Seriously, it has always been service with a smile!!

Absolutely lovely place. The decor was very relaxing and made me feel right at home. The staff were very nice and attentive to the table. The food was wonderful! I had the MN Nice burger with a side of potatoes and gravy. Wonderfully crafted burger which delivered a wonderful mix of flavors with every bite. Highly recommend!
The new happy hour is fantastic! Very good deals on food and drinks. As always, the service and food is amazing. Gold Nugget Tavern & Grille now has one of the best happy hours in town and I can’t wait to visit again!
Finally had a chance to check this place out. I had a fantastic prime rib dip and the wife had a great burger. Live music was in another room but it didn't drown out our conversation as happens in other locales. Bar and table seating available as well as patio for when the weather permits. Definitely worth checking out!
