What a great place. Would go back anytime we are in Mobile. Food was wonderful and the service was killer. The atmosphere was spot on for a nice afternoon with friends.
Great Food! Great Service! Great Atmosphere! I've tried a lot of different things on the menu and everything has been great! The crispy fish tacos are probably my favorite thing to order on the menu. A close second would have to be the chorizo and potato quesadilla.
A Unique Casual Local Joint. OK Bicycle is an interesting combination bar, eatery serving Mexican and sushi, a combination of several locals stops all tied together. Really enjoy the atmosphere with all the bicycles hanging fro the ceiling, servers are very nice, and very laid back. Everyone seems to know one another which makes it for a preferred local establishment. I started with tortilla chips and the chipotle salsa, which had a terrific heat to it, went very well with the forty four IPA. The list of beers is large, from the usual domestics, to micro brews, and imports, to everyone's liking, on tap or in bottle. My entree was the chicken flautas, two ea, it's ground chicken, and the tortilla is flaky and light. Topped with a green chili sauce. Ok Bicycle is easy to get to, but being that this was a week night, parking was pretty easy, but on the weekends it would be another matter. Be aware that parking is on the street.
A favorite of my wife and I. We always take out of town guests here and they request going back when they visit again. Food is always great (mexi and sushi). Servers are always friendly and helpful. Great beer selection. Fun patio/courtyard. As a foodie and a beer fan, I've never had a bad experience here. If you are looking for a fun, causal spot for great mexican food (try tacos, flautas, chips and fundito, quesidillas) or sushi, then Bike Shop is a place to try.
The food is great and the presentation is lovely. The chorizo and potato quesedia was so good i ordered another one to go, but I ate it there. Absolute YUM!
Fun place, good food. This place has a fun, hipster kind of vibe. We have eaten here twice while in the area. Their guacamole is super fresh and tasty. The tacos are good, and they have some interesting sushi rolls.
Delicious food, great service.. The Bike Shop has me hooked on the lengua. I go back at least once a week and get a few. The service is always outstanding and drinks are reasonably priced.
Amazing food. I love the Taqueria where I can get full on just delicious tacos. The tuna taco and beef taco are my favorite.
Best Mexican Cuisine. Not your ordinary 1-25 mexican cuisine. Everything is fresh and unique in presentation and taste. Ceviche is awesome as well as chips and salsa(not your regular chips and salsa). Price is not the same as your regular mex cuisine, but food more than makes up for pricing. Some of the better food i've had around here.
Food was great. Service slow........... Not the fault of limited servers. Sat outside, food was excelllent, Would go again.....But not on a Saturday nite...

Mmmmmm. Popped in for lunch. Had the fish tacos. They were the best fish taco East of the Mississippi. I asked the waiter which margarita he would recommend. He brought me a pineapple habanero. It tasted so good but was too hot for me. Since I am a pussy, he happily brought me a top shelf in exchange. Great service. I'd pop in anytime for some Mexican food and margaritas!
Unique and fresh cuisine. Not your Sabora Mexico Mexican but yummy just the same!
Great Food - Not so Great Staff!. The food is almost always wonderful, but the staff is almost always terrible. 90% of the time the wait staff is horrid. They don't pay you much attention, they don't ask you how everything is, they don't care if they bring you the wrong items, they take forever and barely ever check up on you. Your glass can sit empty for about 10-15 min normally before they offer you a refill.
Excellence all the time. I believe that those who do not like the food ate the type if people that only eat fried southern foods that have no flavor besides fat. The food at both liquid and bike shop is made fresh, ingredients are the most delicious. Yes, the Mexican is non traditional. More like modern Mexican. Much healthier than the plates of slop you get elsewhere. Also, in regards to bad bartender. He no longer works there, so give it another go! Margaritas are unbelievable! All fresh ingredients. Habenero pineapple, strawberry basil, yes please!
Had to warm up. Went during Mardi Gras, was not impressed. Left w/o ordering. Came back in the fall a couple of times and the food was great as well as the service, but most of all I love their signature Margarita's. The Habernero and Pinapple is to die!
Them tacos are good. Me and my wife went here a few months back and we had a great meal

MMmm Good. Great freshly made salsa and guac. the shells are fresh and crisp, which is why they are more fragile- becasue they are not over processed. the sushi is consistenly some of the best in Mobile, yet I did get a rookie one night who had no clue how to make a hand roll, so I had to educate him and he was skimpy on the tuna, but that was a one time incident out of 20. they are great! PLUS they make my drink right every time. I am particular about my drink.
DISGUSTING!!! Ive tried this place three times, always giving them the benefit of doubt sushi is NEVER fresh and overpriced. And why do they charge a dollar for sauce!?? They mexican food is nontraditional
Mexican and Asian - neat concept. I love that you can order either menu on the Liquid/Bike Shop sides.
The chipotle cream cheese jalapeno poppers are like devil fire hot, but man so addictively good.
The spring rolls from the liquid side are very good too.
I like their guacamole, and the fried fish taco as well as the tuna taco.
On the liquid menu, I'm a fan of their tuna/squid salad. I'm not a huge fan of their rolls, some interesting combinations, but the size of the rolls are still a bit big for me.
I do have to say that the variety of flavors on the rolls is refreshing, dill sauce with salmon is quite intriguing.
Definitely my GO TO place for after work/ late night eatery in downtown Mobile.
Great variety of beers as well.

Great Dinner. Dinner has always been excellent, and I love at dinner I can order sushi AND mexican!
Really Surprising. Open on a Saturday afternoon when we didn't expect to find a great lunch spot. Duck tostada was tenderly cooked meat mixed with goat cheese and topped with dressed arugula. Meat was not fatty, and the tortilla was thin and freshly fried. The meat on the steak tacos was a type of middle meat that is much better quality than I'd expect at any mexican place. This isn't cheesy gooey cheap mexican that I crave all to often, its hands and feet above. Its date pleasing mexican.
FUSION. Where else can you get Mexican food, sushi, and an extensive beer list at the same place? The Bike Shop is great for this reason alone. There are so many items on the menu to choose from and everything is delicious. Mushroom lovers have got to try the (grilled portabella) mushroom taco with goat cheese! They also have real avocado guac that you just can't stop eating.
Such a surprise. So nice to have such great tasting mex-cal food....and so reasonable....relatives from san diego wished they had this good back home. My favorite was the mahi mahi taco but the tres cerviche was the best ever according to my sister .
Wonderful. Absolutely THE best mexican food ever. Fresh, tasty, and with a huge beer list. Funky atmosphere, and great outdoor seating.

Fun is an abbreviation for Fundito!. Innovative and unlike any other i've ever had, and all in one of Mobile's great bars.
Food is excellent and different specials every time I go in. You can't beat the mahi mahi tacos outstanding. Also get a fresh squeezed magarita they are out of this world.
Great Mexican food. All very fresh, Guacamole was memorable. Ate a great chicken taco while listening to Fugazi. Sushi was just as good.

Spicy Mexican Food Downtown. The menu items are so fresh and full of flavor. You can't go wrong with any of the choices. They have some unique items such as roast duck tostadas, black bean or beef empanadas, 3 different kinds of ceviche, 3 different kinds of salsa. The list goes on and on.
My favorite things on the menu so far has been the seared tuna tacos (it has this great grapefruit chipotle sauce that is to die for) and the beef empanadas. The beef is more like roast beef but it has been cooked in spices and then stuffed into a turnover pastry and fried.
The cool thing about this place is that not only can you order Mexican food here, but they give you the option of ordering sushi from Liquid next door as well. There's something for everyone.
Fun and funky. This is a great downtown restaurant/bar. The food is Mexican a la carte, so you can try several items in one sitting. I loved the black bean empenada. The altmospher is divey, but fun. Good service.
