Cuban sandwich with salad, another great special. Regina’s Kitchen. Across the street from Little Flower Catholic Church on Government Street in beautiful MidTown Mobile. Good sweet tea. Open from 11 to 2 Monday thru Friday.
One of the best lunch spots in Mobile. Great sandwiches....their muffuletta is my favorite. Service is friendly and prompt. Food always freshly made. Worth the trip.
Whether you choose the Jethro ( roast beef with the best horse radish sauce ever!) or Mama's chicken salad sandwich ( I like the one with bacon lettuce and tomato.. you can't go wrong!! I also love the soups! Friendly service and great food!
Very good -- everything we had was excellent. A must come back to when in area. If in mood for soup salad or sandwich will be hard to beat.
Amazing food! This is a sandwich shop for the books- so good it's only open 3 hours a day! Sometimes there's a wait but it's always worth it. Don't forget to ask about the specials!!
Shrimp Salad. Love this mom & pop place. They have the BEST shrimp salad on the planet and have HUGE portions. Great selection of many different types of sandwiches.

Always fresh and generous quantities. Salads and sandwiches have always been great. Salads are awesome. Filled with healthy things. Sandwiches are on fresh bread and generous portions. Have never been disappointed. Do not know where some of the naysayers have been but consistently good.
The food was good and there were several good options. It took some time to get it out to us. The overall ambiance was very quirky and cool.
The Schoel is the way to go. Just don't be in a rush.
They get a lot right. Aside from the grumpy guy taking orders who only smiles to 08ers, this place is steadily becoming one of my favorite lunch spots. The food is prepared with care and they seem to understand their audience. Good chicken salad, great tea, cookies and mud cake are perfect, and the meats are choice. But, I particularly like how they make a BLT. So many places seem to mess up something so simple. Regina's uses quality bacon that is typically crispy. It's also family-friendly and the paint-by-numbers on the walls are fun to look at.

I am so glad we found this hidden gem!!! We have been three times since we discovered it and it gets better every time. The setting and menu seemed familiar and I was ecstatic when I learned that it is the same family that owned the old Mary Ann's in Fairhope...one of my favorite places ever. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy a wonderful meal with a comfortable, family atmosphere. You won't regret it!!'
Great food! Had the jambalaya, beef brisket, salad, and a great brownie. Food was great and freshly prepared. I generally don't care for beef brisket, but Regina's brisket was delicious!
Food was fresh and tasty. Service was friendly. Can't wait to come back. My new favorite lunch spot in Mobile.
Been to Regina's many times and it's always great. Sometimes a bit slow, but the soups and sandwiches are always great. Also, their chicken salad, shrimp salad, and pimento cheese are all great and can be purchased in containers to take home. Great lunch spot, but go early if possible, it fills up fast.

Great place for lunch!!!. Excellent Reuban. Muffuletta rivals anything you'll find in NOLA (and that's a strong statement). Soups change daily. Every once in a while the special will be a hot lunch. The chicken pot pie has no equal. You're in luck if you show up on red beans and rice day, as it is loaded with sausage and ham. The place can get crowded in a hurry at the lunch hour. Get there early.

FABULOUS!. Great eats in Midtown! The food is consistently good and served in ample amounts. Their Muffaletta is a sandwich best shared by two folks since it is, in the New Orleans tradition, huge! This is a family owned business contributing tax dollars that stay in our community. Mobile needs more places like this.

Dont listen to delish. I had the opportunity to try a french dip at Regina's Kitchen last week and it was great. I found the atmosphere very relaxing and warm. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
With regard to Delish, you went to a brand new family owned restaurant on the 3rd day they were open and the owner gave you a weird look? Could it have been stress? Good thing you are not one to use the race card too quickly or you might have hurt yourself jumping to a conclusion. I don't know the folks that own Regina's but I always find it a shame to see someone loosely throw out an accusation at a small business owner without having any real proof. It takes a lot of work, guts, money and commitment to open a business and I douby very seriously they would offend any customer on purpose. Maybe you should chalk it up to stress and give them a second try. I bet you would welcome one if you had your neck on the line.
A Tasty Addition to the Mobile Bay Dining Scene!!. I completely disagree with the negative review below. We've visited Regina's Kitchen multiple times since their recent opening and have been more than pleased each visit. Their French Dip is amazing!! I can't leave without taking home a pint of their homemade pimento cheese and it disappears quickly in my house. Husband LOVES the chicken salad (I'm not a fan of sweet pickles, so this is more up his alley than mine). Pasta salad and potato salad are both delicious and we have a friend who swears by the Muffaletta. Everything is reasonably priced and if you get the lunch special, it is a steal! They had a meatball sandwich with fresh mozerella as a special one day and it was to die for. It is very apparent that this is a family owned business where they all chip in to make it a great experience for their customers. If you get the chance, stop by and try it out. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Oh and one last tip, their Mississippi Mud dessert is divine!!
Nikki often orders the Tom Turkey, and this visit was no exception. It sounds good when I describe it… smoked turkey, provolone, bacon, honey mustard – on toasted sourdough… but it’s even better when you taste it. It’s consistently good and, unless you’re really hungry, can serve as both lunch and dinner if you grab a to-go box.
I ordered the Mobilian which you chose 3 from a list of items. I chose chicken salad, potato salad and fruit salad. I ordered the poppy seed vinaigrette on the side of the fruit instead of mixed in. I loved everything. It all tasted fresh and great!
