Food is good, but a little overpriced. Lunch for 2 should not cost $30. Kitchen is a little slow, but the server was friendly and the dining area was very pleasant.
Seeker of Great Food. My wife and I were in Mobile recently and ate dinner at McGhee's, Felix's, and Wintzell's. The best meal by far was McGhee's (still trying to figure out the Felix thing). The Chef prepared us barbequed shrimp, sautéed crab claws, and an entre' of fresh grouper with potato cakes and sautéed vegetables. One of the best coastal meals that I've had in my entire life!! McGhee's will be our number one dining spot on our next trip to Mobile. Chef Will Reid is a diamond in the rough and is going places in the culinary world! Love the food and service!! Bravo McGhee's!!

Great Meal. I was in MaGhees Thurs. April 7, 2011 with some friends and had a fantastic meal. The Grilled Rosemary Chicken was great, I'll be back the next time I'm in town.
Great atmosphere, cold beer, good wine, Tom and Paula are great chefs, prices are very reasonable, .... Megan runs a good venue.
