This tiny little gem...run by Miss Gwen is not to be missed!! Delicious comfort food for a great price. Try her moist fried chicken that isn't greasy...Omg! Will return again!

Ms Gwen and her Buffet was absolutely wonderful. We drove an hour just to check it out after reading so many great comments and it lived up to each one. It is a small, not real fancy place but the food is amazing. All homemade and delicious. Look it up and go for lunch. Ms Gwen is so sweet too.

This is a great place if you are looking for a small country buffet in a friendly family environment. Ms. Gwen is the owner and is so friendly. Expect to give her a hug on your first visit, won't be your last. They have a set menu and I can tell you, Thursday (pork chops) and Sunday are my favorite. The chops are huge as are the ribs and tasty. Everyday she has fried chicken which all my friends have declared the best ever. And don't forget to save some room for the banana pudding, which you may want to grab first because it will vanish quickly!!

Food is ALWAYS great and Ms. Gwen is the BEST little hostess EVER!!! She makes everyone feel welcome and at home with a hug, a smile and many kind words for all her customers! I go a couple of times a week!!!

I really enjoyed this. I'm not from Alabama, but I highly recommend it to anyone.
I stopped on my way out of town and Gwen was nothing but kind. She was completely hospitable, asking me every step of the way about the food.
She even put my drink in a to-go cup without asking. I was there around closing, yet she still asked if I wanted anything before putting it away.
I don't normally eat salad but the bacon bits, eggs, tomatoes and salad dressing made it very good.
Well done ma'am!
Oh, and you probably won't find a better buffet deal in town, just under $10 including drink (gratuity extra).

This is the old time small town diner, only with good food! The lady who runs this restaurant makes it a point to know everyone's name. She talks to every customer and treats them like they are her best friends whether they have been her faithful customer for 5 years or if it's the first time they've stepped in the door!
There isn't much variety (fried chicken, baked chicken and one other meat of the day, a few vegetables, small salad bar and three desserts) but what she had, was very good home style southern cooking. Try her fried chicken, it is very moist but not greasy!

Definately worth the drive to Chickasaw. Ms. Gwen is the best. Home cooked meals made with love. If you have ever been, the fried chicken is out of this world. You need to try Thursdays, its pork chop day so get there early and make sure you try the banana pudding. Don't forget to give Ms Gwen a hug!!

Oh my gosh this was sooooooo good!! I just happened to find this place on Google, and I'm so glad I did. This was some of the best fried chicken and green beans I have ever had. I would eat here every day if I lived in Alabama. Low key would drive 11 hours from NC, eat here, and go home. Definitely worth stopping. Don't even question it. Just stop!
