Let me start by saying the ribs were fantastic. Not what you expect when you drive up. Doesn't have your typical sides, no fries or baked beans. They did have deviled eggs. It's almost artisan, but with a backroads blend. Highly recommend.

Brisket was better than any I have ever had. I don't order it often, but this was an exceptional example. The ribs were very good, but the sauce was the reason you should eat here. This is the best BBQ sauce I have ever had. It isn't even close. It is better than Archibalds, or Dreamland. The staff was very nice and they had good music on. If you are in the area or even if you have to out of your way you should drop by! They don't really have vegetables so if that is your thing you should avoid this restaurant.

Returning customer here, been a tradition for 4 years of us coming to this spot for BBQ after Brick Pit closed and honestly nothing I've ever had can top this place. Best ribs I've tasted my whole life and I always make sure I bring some home too. 10/10 would recommend đź‘Ś

This place is amazing. Their BBQ ribs are made with dry rub and it is so tasteful. Pork rind are served before the meal and served with special tasty sauce. My husband got Erotic rib plate and I got Brisket tower and erotic rib plate. They are so delicious! We are so happy to have found an amazing BBQ place in Mobile. If you are in town and if you crave BBQ, please try!!

Bay Barbecue’s ribs and sauce are hands down the best we’ve ever had. After extensive research, I chose Bay Barbecue for our first ribs of vacation. I called and asked if they were open and if so, could we please pick up four racks of ribs at 3:00. They remarked that they were planning to close at 2:00 but that they would be happy to stay and wait for us to arrive. We have sampled barbecue from several places in St Louis and Memphis but we now have a new favorite. Upon hearing that it was our first time at BB, they insisted on an immediate tasting. It is clear that they take pride in their work as well they should. They run a very reasonably priced, well-kept establishment and are incredibly kind. Especially amidst the pandemic, we felt very comfortable in the building and consuming their food. While our BBQ research will continue, I have a feeling that we will always compare others to Bay Barbecue, wishing we were there instead.

This was AMAZING BBQ! The reviews online are right on this oneđź‘Ťđź‘Ťđź‘Ť I eat Local when we travel as much as possible. Find some winners and some losers. This was a Winner for sure. Sort of hard to find - on a main road. No big sign out front. Was a house converted into a bbq joint with a very small indoor seating area and front deck. Parking out back. WORTH IT! I told Arthur we like ribs and I like brisket. He set us up with a half rack and a half pound of brisket. "Dry Rub" is not what I normally have or would pick. Seems like it would equal dried out ribs as well. WRONG! They were tender, juicy, flavorful and PERFECT! Best ribs I've ever had. Plan on buying a full rack to take back home when we leave. The Brisket was On Point. Little heavy on the black pepper for the wife but I loved it. Juicy means Not Dried Out and this was juicy. No bun or sauce wanted or needed. Thank you Arthur for a wonderful meal!
