I was in the area for a work project and experienced some of the best Thai food ever. The noodles and curry were so good and memorable. Will habe to make a special trip back here to the middle of nowhere (lol) just to eat here. Thank you for the wonderful food and service.
In the mood for great Thai food and we found it. Mojave Thai. They were very welcoming and the food was delicious. My fried rice was ordered with the Thai Spice level of heat and it was perfect. Shatari, our server, was fun and really enjoyed her personality.
Amazing server who took care of us. Everything everyone ate was amazing: appetizer Mojave combination, fried rice dish, Kai Kua, Pad Thai, etc. And you have to try the Thai tea! Gem in the middle of nowhere.
The food was tasty, the waitress did an amazing job and the place was comfortable and in a good shape.
Definitely an excellent place to go in this little tiny community.
We literally showed up 10min before closing. It was clear they were all about to come home. We had just come from Death Valley and were tired & starving and after being told the kitchen was closed were resigning ourselves to fast food when the owner said he would reopen the kitchen for us. That in itself would have warranted a good review....but when the food came out it was some of the best Thai food we'd had in years. Cannot recommend this place more. Between the kindness and generosity of the owner & staff and the quality of the dishes they serve I'd go there all the time if I lived in Mojave. Sadly I don't but i will a point of passing through Mojave again just so I can eat here
It feels wonderful to get such amazing food at a place where things are very difficult due to the weather. We came here very hungry on the way back home from Death Valley and the place was sort of empty. We started with steamed Chicken pot stickers which come as 6 pieces in a plate with soy sauce. For the main course we had Tom Yum Noodle soup, Spicy Mojave Thai fried rice and The Original Khao Soi from Chiang Rai(egg noodles with veggies in Yellow Curry). All items were delicious and plentiful.
Really good Thai food, affordable price, and a lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff rounds out an excellent small town dining experience, truly a small miracle that such a great place exists here! Many fantastic options for all dietary preferences.
Stopped for a meal while passing thru and was very pleasantly surprised by the variety & quality of the food here. Service a bit slow (seems understaffed), but the good food made up for it.
Wonderful Thai food. A MUST stop for Tesla drivers; one charge station about 150 yd away. The new Station is 60 feet away. It should be online soon.
The P.E.T. is my wife's favorite. The drunken noodles are as good as any I've had. And coconut water in the coconut. An absolute gem.
Tonight was my first ever time here. It was recommended by my in-laws. I'm vegan and Lao, so I had some expectations on authenticity. I didn't catch the server's name, but she is THE BEST. She can make anyone feel comfortable and at home here.
I ordered a side of sticky rice and laap with fried tofu and requested it to "be spicy enough to make me cry." One of my childhood favorites. They were happy to fulfill my request. From portion to flavors to the spice level, everything was perfect. I was sniffling, getting sweaty forehead, and having some tears stream down my face. Just what I wanted! More of the flavors start to fill my mouth when I stopped to enjoy every part of the bite. Fresh and with depth.
My partner ordered the traditional Thai curry with fried tofu at medium spice level. To preface, they are white. "It has a kick." They said. I tried it and didn't detect any sort of "kick." Then again, I did want to cry from food lol. Added this so those who don't know what to expect on their spice levels can have a better gage.
I'd recommend this to my family that doesn't even live remotely close to the area. It's worth the drive and worth the stop if you're traveling on the road.
Also, I will note that on the menu for laap, it doesn't have the option for tofu, just chicken or beef; but don't worry fellow non-meat eaters. They got your back ;)
It’s a nice restaurant with a lot of paint on the walls and pillars. Here you’ll find the excellence of green mustard, Thai spaghetti, and Asian pumpkin to be irresistible for dining on a budget between fine dining and frugal spending, although I’ve felt the whole experience to be very fine for comfort along the lines. When you enter the restaurant at the front door, the whole scenery seems to expand within these beautiful horizons on which Thai cuisine makes the case heard in delectable herbs and spicy foods. Ongoing atmosphere lets us have that comfort. There’s more than what meets the eye on privilege here concerning enough to be heard. I’m usually given a can of Diet Coke with an ice cup wherever I take spot on the premises among myself and others related to employment in Mojave’s rugged terrain, so we’ve taken up space- me and waiters- on channels assumed for the social networking on our appetite of exchange in orders and gifts. So many noodles to choose from! Asian pumpkin is directed to various meats, including shrimp and more seafood, as we can pick up our pace for the spices over meals of conduct under the healthy blue sky, under the complicated roof of green pillars, and under some of the most intense Thai spices you’ll find near Kern County. This visit I took was as much of a business trip as a learned lesson. Enough matters across from the tables around me whenever I pardon ice in a cup for the straw towards refreshment over quick treats. Sure, it’s not fast food, but you should be getting your dish very rapidly here, for I’ve dined for the likes of Jack and BK and experienced slower service out of mere chance, emotional workers, and their exact detailing of sandwiches. Thai Cuisine is more of a running horse than a slow poke. Green mustard can really add more soup quality to its intended dish for reference in hunger, even if we’re above conduct for seemingly everlasting moments that cancel out boredom until immediate favors for something else return. Here in Mojave, my family has taken storm on a lot of fronts where restaurants like Thai Cuisine add more flavor to the bite despite our typical pause at a gas station somewhere between sands and exquisite buildings. Like Thai Cuisine, you’ll find architecture of particular interest in terms of the arts of peace and harmony where residents settle habits on privilege closer to acceptance than to disunity. I recommend the Asian pumpkin dish I’ve had with medium-to-hot texture as well as green mustard for additional noodles on convenience, bite, and terrific service from the waiters and their efficient, dramatic cook.
Delicious and perfect! The portion is huge.
Lovely place for a Thai experience
Great thai food! We ate inside and the food was ready real quick. The staff were really nice as well!
This is a hidden gem in Mojave. I never expected getting a delicious Thai lunch in Mojave out of all the places.
When I walked in, a charismatic and humorous gentleman greeted me-it may have been the owner. When I saw the place, I suspected that this place was humble in the atmosphere and speculated the food to be subpar. The menu stated that the massaman curry was famous, and out of curiosity, I ordered just that with tofu and asked them to make it spicier than their medium. When it came out in a large bowl, I was fascinated by its color and immediately asked for additional chili sauce. However, when I tried the curry, it was spiced exactly as I would have wanted it.
The aromatics of souther thai curry and other spices (including tamarind, Thai chilis, and peanuts) cooked with coconut milk based were filled with potatoes and tofu. The texture of the potato surprised me the most as it was tender yet held its structure. The tofu was a great choice.
In summary, it's a must try place. Oh, and their Thai coffee was good as well. But I was too busy enjoying the curry.
First time here it was a great experience we knew nothing about Thai food we will be back was kinda scary in my wheelchair cause it's slanted going in and out but our food was great my hats off to the chef
We found a gem in the middle of nowhere. It was so windy and cold outside hence the hunt for a hearty warm bowl of soup. #MojaveThaiCuisine kept us warm with their huge serving of tom yum noodle soup. This restaurant is one of the few food stalls we spotted and they didn't disappoint. Service was great and the staff were friendly too.

Always great food. Sometimes a little spicy. If you are sensitive to hot food go for mild! The waitresses are very nice and remember their regulars.
Excellent food for the price. The service was good, the did tasty, and the prices are good.
The decor could use some upgrades but it would maker the potties higher.
Very good pad thai, we did not wait so long even if we were alone ordering lol
I also liked their coconut water from a really coconut, thanks :)
