Good mortadella, but surprised how expensive it was. Over $10 lb! It’s the cheapest lunch meat you can buy in Italy and other delis. It’s similar to bologna but better. The Italian sausage was reasonable and also very good. Wish they had fresh bread though.

Fraboni's is amazing! They have a great selection of pastas / sauces / dough / pre-made meals and their deli is unbelievable! The sub sandwiches, which are made to order, are awesome too. This is such a Madison gem and I hope it's around forever!
Neighborhood deli/grocery store. Have a wide variety of Italian flavors. Fresh foods to eat outside or take home. I was told to try the Otto sub. It was very good.

The food here is always spectacular, and the customer service is top notch. If you go near lunch time, prepare to wait in line... it's popular. They do have grab and go sandwiches and salads though.
Traditional Italian deli with over a dozen sandwiches made fresh while you wait, a counter of Italian and Mediterranean dishes to be ordered, and a wide variety of other goods for purchase. The store has been in the Fraboni family for over 100 years--may they remain in business for another 100.
Picked up a DELICIOUS sammy for the beach from here. Such a charming little place with seating inside, out and can even find authentic Italian delicacies here too. My only critique is the bread on my sandwich could’ve been a little fresher, but it was a hearty sandwich
One of my favorite places in the entire city. Awesome sandwiches, tons of great Italian grocery options, pizza making supplies etc. The Porketta roasts are great, definitely worth baking one at home, and the frozen pizzas are great too.
