Waypoint Public House - Monona - Photo album

Very casual place with simple interior. My dishes of French onion soup and Ceviche did not disappoint. Well made and tasty. The patio is right on the water with ample sitting. Huge bar area wraps around the space.
We went here before we got on the boat, sat outside and ate our food, looked over the water, excellent staff, very friendly staff, and the food was fantastic I definitely recommend this place.
Many draft beer choices as well as wine and liquor. Food was very good. We had the succulent wings and house brined corn beef rueben and recommend them. The Cole slaw was a hit.
The Waypoint is a regular stop of ours during the summer months when we can sit on their incomparable patio on the water. Everything on the menu is fantastic and you will be pleased with it. We decided to stop in a few weeks ago and have dinner inside, as late fall has arrived and the outdoor pati
We enjoyed fish plates in wonderful sun on the patio today .. entertained by white pelicans. The grilled walleye and salad and fried walleye and sweet potato fries were accompanied by a generous serving of creamy slaw. A Krombacher to wash it down was the touch it called for.
Came here with a group of 7 over the weekend. Food, drinks and service were top notch. Could use a bit more lighting at night to read menus (6pm winter in the corner was dark). Otherwise definitely will be back.
This was my first visit to the restaurant. I was meeting a friend who recommended it. I must admit I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and fresh tasting both of our dishes. I also enjoyed the tequila anejo old fashioned!
Very calm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. The food was great. We sat outside overlooking the water. They had a lot of kids options though they don’t have a printed kids menu so if you bring young kids along be sure to ask! I’m very much the type to take photos of my plate but I was so
Large restaurant with a deck overlooking the water. Not far off the highway. Friendly service, large menu, and tasty entrees. Our waitress answered questions and made suggestions for our group of five. We enjoyed the Cheese Curds and the Hummus Plate as appetizers. The summer salad was FANTASTIC!
SUNDAY BRUNCH, I loved it! Amalia was such a great host at the bar, and is a fabulous bartender. She created some craft drinks for me. She also had the best recommendation for brunch items. Tip of the hat to the wonderful team. The dock made it much easier to get to (by boat) and we didn't have to d
First time visit, and the 5 of us couldn't decide what we loved best. Shrimp tacos, smash burger, berry said with chicken or the pepper jack chicken sandwich. Some were messy to eat, but all excellent. Enjoyed a night on the patio as the a/c inside was too cold for us after a 90 degree day at the Ba
Enjoyed sitting on the patio of this Google map find just off the freeway. We both ordered a salad from the good variety they had. Hubby wanted the wings, especially after how Great they looked, but is trying to eat more salad. My Waypoint Power salad was supposed to come with a peanut dressing tha
Excellent food. Great atmosphere & wonderful service
This is a fun place on the south side of Madison (really Monona area) that is unique. Good food and decent drink selection. It's an upscale sports bar maybe? However you describe it, definitely worth checking out!
Atmosphere was very good, our server, well she was fantastic. 4 of us ate inside. Out of the 4, 3 said their meal was delish. Cheese curds were fantastic. I had the Ruben. I will say it was probably the worst tasting Ruben I’ve ever had. Not to sure if it was even corned beef. It had an odd taste an
First time here for a Sunday brunch and had the very delicious Waypoint Benedict with a mimosa. The brunch potatoes come tossed with a slightly tangy sauce for some added flavor. I am sure you could ask to skip that if you prefer. Outdoor seating was nice but you do hear and see the beltline traffic
Great food, staff was very friendly, nice atmosphere thought maybe a little dark. Little tricky to tell where it is from the parking lot so if your a traveler and are like ummm this is just a resedtial condo.. it's at the end near the water, there was so out side Reno's maybe there will be more obvi
If you want a hardy Midwest meal and drink this is the place for you. For me, the bluegill sandwich, spicy veggie chili and a big WI beer hits the spot. They also have other sandwiches, entrees and salads. Check it out.
Great beer list, good food, nice staff, great patio and the inside is very nice as well. Just visited again after a year. Still like the place. Sitting outside on the river is sweet. The Beltline is just a low roar. Had 3 great beers, wings (dry rub) were fantastic. Deviled eggs were fun, with a bac
